Thanks so much for your help.
Great place to eat breakfast and lunch if you're homeless. They serve sacked lunches every day from 930 till 1130 and serve lunch from 1215 till 1. I highly recommend Salvation Army as they leave you full. Another good place to eat is City Team which serves hot breakfast Monday thru Friday at 630am, Saturday and Sunday at 8am and they have food you can take with you for lunch. Their dinner is served at 5pm every night and the food is good. More often than not they offer seconds as well and have food you can take with you as well. City Team does it right if you're on the street and they have a men's shelter as well with beds which is the only shelter in San Jose that has beds. They give you clean sheets, a shower, and clothes to sleep in every night.
Serve 2 hot meals a day which is cool. But it doesn't feel you up. They don't allow second. I always find myself spending a few buck somewhere else just to get full. Which is surprising cuz not too many people go eat here. City team you can eat until you can't eat anymore. Also you can take desert to go.
Great place to be. If you are in dyer need of shelter and sobriety. I live here for the purpose of saving money until I’m able to be on my own. I have been extorted of a lot of money from the state of California and the justice system. I hope I can get out of being a victim of racist and unlawful fines and excessive fees from the state. Great place Emmanuel house to start over and show people that god has a plan for all of us.
As someone that was houseless and not homeless, i was looking for food that fit my describe style because I am a Vegan and the one thing that stood out was the rudeness from the people that are working there under the program. As a photographer and documentarian out of work for the time, it was a very negative experience how they play favoritism to other by providing food but when I ask for a vegan option they told me to go somewhere else and quote" what do you people eat?" was said. I found that to be very unprofessional but then again these individuals are not trained or have the education needs when they should have the education to know the difference. Numerous health and safety violations but not only that I have heard number of reports of people having been Food poisoning can cause abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, and weakness. Not only that there is no restroom while in the place while eating due to a plumbing problem people have complint that has been going on for months.
Good meals. Cold in the dorm, due to windows, and ceiling fans being on. Otherwise, very good. Showers and bathrooms we're good as well. Good place to rest and clean up.
Punctual opening time, very friendly service to all in need with respect Give lunches dinner 6 days a week and many daily necessities
Great help for the community
