Stay away from this company, I see why the reviews are bad. American Home Shield sent the contractor to my house to repair my washing machine. The tech asked me for a piece of wood and placed the wood inside the the washer and pulled the machine towards him using his knee. He couldn’t repair the machine and wrote in his report that the machine had a dent in it and that’s the reason he couldn’t fix it. He put the dent in the machine. I had to get AHS to send another company out for a 2nd opinion. They deserve a Zero rating for that horrible service
Same here. He came and replaced something and the fridge still didn't work. He said he needed another part. It's been three weeks and they won't return my calls anymore. Update: They are assigned to come look at my microwave so maybe this time will be better and I'll adjust my review accordingly.
American Home Shield assigned this contractor to install my dishwasher and they scheduled an appointment to install but are now unresponsive 3 days of calls straight to VM and no call back They schedule me as unable to contact even though I spoke to someone! I missed work for thiThey should have said unable to complete the work but after reading all the reviews I may have dodged a bullet. I will also go with another home warranty company as well if this is American Home Shield works with.
I gave to this company 1 star just because i can't give them less than that. This company was assigned to me by my home warranty insurance to evaluate my kitchen range. They gave me an appointment with a time frame from 1pm until 4pm. Of course, they never showed up. I tried to call them to complain both on the day of and during the following days and my calls went straight to the voicemail. I'm pretty sure they blocked my number . They deserve to go bankrupt
I was skeptical because of past reviews and I almost didn’t use them. That would have been a mistake I have First American Home Warranty and they referred me. I’ve had issues with contractors in the past. I can say that Service Connection was great! They followed up my message with another message, giving me a date and time of appointment, they showed up on time and fixed my washer. The technician’s name was Brian. He was great, patient and knew what he was doing. My washer is now fixed. I’d use them again.
Unfortunately my home warranty company assigned this business to me. It has now been over a month since my initial contact with them and things are still not fixed. They have stopped responding to calls and messages from myself and the company. This entire process has been such an inconvenience. Google should really give an option for zero stars!!!!
I am incredibly disappointed with this company. I am only using them due to being the contracted company through my Home Warranty company American Home Shield. The first guy that came out for prior work was phenomenal. The new guy they have been sending is less than stellar. I was having an issue with my stove, so first he comes to look at it. That time i told him multiple times what the issue was some indicator lights don't work and their were light problems on the clock/timer display and he continues to hit every button on my stove top, and tells me that the time is fine. And everything on the stove works fine- again I explain the issue and he tells me he has to have the part ordered. I get a call to schedule the next visit when they received the part. This was great, he showed up early, complaint number 1 here is that he did not call before showing up. So he pulls the entire range out and works on taking the back piece off. Then his cell phone rings and there is a song that makes me entirely uncomfortable to listen to I don't mind people's personal ringtones, but when at a clients house I should not have to hear it, he then proceeds to tell the person the phone how drunk he got the night before, so I am already questioning is ability to complete the job. He gets back to work on the stove and cannot entirely figure out how to take it apart. He eventually gets it after removing pieces that did not have to be removed. He works on putting in the new computer board to determine they sent him the wrong part. So he goes and he puts the stove back together, which would be one thing if he actually got it entirely back together, and slid it back. Well he did not even bother to move my stove back all the way. He tells me they will have to order the right board, and will schedule- then he wants me to sign the receipt, which I signed clearly stating the job was not completed. After a week I checked my dashboard on American Home Shield, and the ticket said it was closed, so I reopened it Stating the problem was not resolved. They then closed the ticket again, and again I had to open it because the issue was not resolved. Eventually I did receive a call stating they were replacing the stove- but not from Service Connection. I refuse to let this gentleman back in my house since he does not know how to work on appliances or even move them back in place properly.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! They came out as a subcontractor for American Home Shield to service my dishwasher. The dishwasher isn't repairable, however they tell me there going to order parts. Two weeks later he returns to attempt to repair. After 3 hours in my home and watching countless YouTube videos he leaves without communicating or leaving a service receipt saying "I'll be back." He never returns and when I called Home Shield to complain and cancel my warranty the receptionist at Service Connection lied and said she sent a report stating her technician could not fix the dishwasher. Home Shield states they only replace if the service company says to replace and the word Service Connection used is "unfixable". They are a scam. He never could fix it and he knew it.
Worst service I had in my life. The scheduling lady who scheduled my fridge repair called to cancel because "the guy who scheduled it made a mistake". Is she a guy?. After cancellations and no shows due to "broken truck", the guy comes, spends 5 minutes and says it was a loose connection In the bottom fridge drawer and he plugs it in firmly. I call again to report no resolution of high temperature and he promised to get a replacement part in 2 days. This was the end of it. No returning my calls and nothing solved.
a repair person came to my home, was there for a good 5 minutes, then left saying it looks like the motor. Turned in a made up report at his office. I got denied service because, this person from service connection did not want to work. Now i have to pay someone reliable to do the job that was already paid for. Service Connection NO thank you
