The Southside Church of Christ

Southside church of Christ is a very welcoming place. The singing and fellowship were wonderful and the people are very genuine and loving. Another great aspect is the sound preaching directly from the Word of God and it's presented in a simplistic way to help you understand and convict you to take action in your life. The church is overseen by elders and there are many ministries to be involved in! Lots of people of all races and ages, especially a lot of young ones!

The Southside church of Christ is a congregation comprised of loving, well-studied, and dedicated Christians. I was not raised in the Lord's church, and therefore had very little bible knowledge when I first started attending. I'm still amazed by how much my knowledge and love of the bible has increased in the few years I've been a member. This is a place where God's Word is taught, upheld, and revered. I can't imagine a better place for my family and I to grow as Christians. We feel confident that our fellow brethren will continue to encourage us and guide us as together we press on towards the goal of heaven.

This congregation exemplifies love and compassion. I was taken in like family from the moment I arrived. Every aspect of this church is rooted and grounded in the word of God. If I ever had a question about why something was being taught or done a certain way someone took me to the Bible and explained from there. These people truly speak where the Bible speaks and they are silent where the Bible is silent.
