The Spa at The Chattanoogan

We just left the spa, and our couple’s massage was amazing. The staff was super friendly from the time of booking to the time of leaving. However, when we got to the nail room we quickly realized it was very warm and the nail specialist had a fan on her. She was super friendly, helpful, and did a great job on our pedicures. The bad part, there’s only 1 nail tech and 1 pedicure station and the room is HOT. We had to do our pedicures back to back and no amount of fruit and cheese tray, beverages and even the fan that was brought in after asking for the air to be turned down (and told there’s nothing she can do), made it worth ever booking a nail treatment here again unless they fix the air situation. Even the floor was super scratched up. It’s like the entire hotel seeks to be elegant and nice, and then you walk in the nail room and that level drops significantly. I’m now in my room trying to cool off and need a shower before going out anywhere from sweating, same for my husband. That was miserable, and I’ve never wished a pedicure to be over in my life like I did today and it was in no way the fault of the technician. The hotel needs to make some changes, offer a discount or something. That was not even close to worth $114.

The spa is amazing, my mom and I came here for a girls getaway weekend and it was everything we hoped for, comfortable, relaxing and amazing service!
