The Spice House

They have every spice you could imagine. I like that you can buy the jars and then paper pouches to refill once you run out. Their staff is very friendly, I will definitely be going back in the future to try out their other options.

A huge not kidding huge range of different spices from all over the world, whether it is "taco" seasoning, "carne asada" seasoning never seen that one before, Za'atar Israeli blend or any other... You name it a d you'll probably find it there! I think the prices where accessibly compared to what you'll get in other stores or online, so totally recommended ‍

Thus isn't the Spice House I used to love. I' have no idea when it changed probably awhile ago...maybe during pandemic? but it has lost all the personality this place used to exude. There's still huge variety of herbs and spices but Everything is now pre-packaged. Gone are all of the wonderful large glass jars that held all of those fresh products until they were sold by ounce. Now most seem to be in 1/2 cup quantity. And gone are all of the intoxicating aromas that met you when you walked in the door. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable but no real reason to drive to downtown..the soul of this store is gone. Miss you Penzey family

My most favorite spice store in the state of Wisconsin! I love their market stall, even though it seems to have been simplified during Covid no samples to smell or taste. Love their mixes and high quality spices. I only wonder when I asked a question about where to find something I wasn’t told about the sale I overheard later.

Angelina and Jade are very nice! The service for my spice blend was super fast and they’re very knowledgeable!

This place has a great selection of spices and herbs all arranged nicely. The smell of herbs and spices is fantastic and taste worlds better than normal grocery store herbs and spices

My wife and I stumbled upon the Milwaukee location of The Spice House while in town for a work conference in about 2016. They were so nice and informative when we went in. Come to find out they have a great website/online store. Since then, we order all of our spices online through them. They offer very affordable, organic spices in about any quantity you want. We order two or three times a year and stay all stocked up via The Spice House. They have a cool newsletter as well with cooking tips. We tell all of our friends and family about it and even order some for my mom when we order. Typically, the order is in our mailbox before we even get a shipping confirmation!

A great selection of proprietary spice blends and individual herbs and spices. I thoroughly enjoy my visits to The Spice House at the Milwaukee Public Market as I always can find what I need or something new to try.

Absolutely fabulous spices. A must go to and have them ship it home when in Milwaukee area!!
