A chameleon of sorts. A bar fit for any occasion Eviction? Spot bar. Divorce? Spot bar. New job? Spot Bar. Bartenders usually have great music on
St. Paul, Minnesota —- “The Spot Bar” was a pARTy Gods’ find ... a GREAT neighborhood bar - customers walk here, bike here & even bus here ... originally a “Hamm’s” beer bar in the late 1800’s & still has “Hamm’s” beer on tap ... bartender “Kevin” was super & the customers were really “neighborly” ... my newest “Run-A-Way Bill” FAVORITE sticker winner bar with “Coon Trap” status - this bar drew me in & now I am trapped forever! “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! 07.22.19
Great little dive bar in St Paul. Meat raffles, etc. Cute patio area as well.
My favorite dive, fun drinks, eclectic crowd, darts, and a real chill vibe.
Mary might be one of the kindest-hearted people i’ve come across that just so happens to bartend. She is such a kind soul that values your presence endlessly. I would absolutely go back in heart beat as the patrons are incredibly welcoming and the environment is so inviting. xoxo Sadie & Kelsey
Great neighborhood bar! Small and friendly with seriously reasonable prices. The bartender was so cool, and made sure we were safe at the end of our night by walking us directly to our waiting vehicle.
The best dive bar in the Cities, PERIOD.
Fast service, a St Paul tradition since the '80's. 1880's. If you're looking for food, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a friendly bartender, or a place to sit and chat while drinking the least expensive and quite possibly the best pulled pint of Guinness in the Twin Cities, this neighborhood bar is the place to sit down.
Great dive, felt very welcome as a newbie. Bartender Mike and some of the locals made for good conversation
My favorite bar in the twin cities. If you grew up in a small town, check out this great place. It has the feel of a small town bar in the big city. Great bartenders and great patrons.
