This is my home church in DC. We are a group of kind, welcoming, and thoughtful followers of Christ, who take seriously the Bible and the love of God and neighbor. The preaching is faithful to the Bible, intellectually challenging, and practically demanding. The liturgy combines the old and the new -- Eucharist is celebrated every week, while the music features both traditional and contemporary songs. The community is politically diverse and younger (many young professionals and people with young families, but also some older folks as well). There are many ways to get involved with dozens of community groups around the city, and opportunities to serve both at the church and in the community. If you're looking for a church, come join us for service -- I think you'll enjoy it!

The Table Church was an unexpected blessing for me, and I'm so glad I came to know it. I absolutely love this church and the community it has created for me in my life. It's a great blend of old and new, formal and relaxed. Music is great, small groups are awesome, and I'm also love the Fresh Stop program, which helps to provide fresh produce from local farms to any family---regardless of income.
The people at church are from all walks of life and different backgrounds, all seeking God together. If you're looking for a really comfortable space to seek God, and make lasting connections with people in our community, check it out!

The Table is a great community to plug into in DC! I recommend it to people all the time. As for me, I'm a small group leader and my wife volunteers as well in the food share program. Kevin Lum, the head pastor, is an excellent speaker and a good guy. It's a very diverse congregation and a welcoming place.

I love going to this church! Services are casual, but at the same time traditional in practices. The community here is great. There’s usually something social happening every week to hang out with people from the church. The preaching is scripture-based and deep, but simple enough for everyone to grasp. Worship has a Mumford and Sons or Lumineers feel.
Great church to check out for sure!
