The Table

One amazing place to stop and eat! The service was homestyle. We felt like family. The atmosphere was hip and fun with a mix of history and urban flare. We had the BLT with the summer squash salad and a side of creamy tomato bisque. Scrumptious. We also had the smoked chicken sandwich with the basil pesto watermelon salad and a side of Parmesan fries. Everything was full of flavors that burst in your mouth!! Very satisfied with the detour we took to eat there while passing through on 65 South.

First time going to this place! Nothing but 5 stars all the way around. Amazing staff, food and atmosphere. Love how they give back to the community! I love their mission and concept! Wish I was local because I would eat here often! Will be back. Smoked chicken with Parmesan Fries pictured below!

This restaurant also serves as a non profit. The food is fresh and fantastic, the staff is extremely friendly. It was an enjoyable experience all around. I had the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries, delicious.Food: 5/5

This is a hidden gem. Went there for lunch with a friend and fell in love with this little restaurant. I loved the decor, very relaxed setting. The waitresses were very nice. I loved seeing the children help clear the tables when people left. The best part was it's a non profit so the prices were beyond cheap and you can do community service there if you can't afford a meal. I would love to see this place expand in the Louisville community to help more people who can't afford meals.

Came because of triple D. The food was great, the staff was fantastic and the whole place felt very much like home. When you add on the good cause they're working for it makes it an easy win for everyone. Don't skip the tomato soup or the parmesan fries!

The table is a place where you can talk amongst people who may or may not be blood related u get to meet new people from all over the great city of Louisville in Portland that was once a small town within Louisville now is a blooming town with history going back 93 years and the table welcomes all new comers from all over the USA even overseas all is welcome at the table where Jesus is the word in the people are friendly and the food that will have you keep coming back for more in you might see or come across a happy go lucky lady name Tara u can’t miss her she talks loudly as she is laughing at the same time but she takes care of the table along with alll friends who don’t have a place to call home but u come as u are all is family all is welcome.along side with John in Matt their the cooks you will call the table your second home away from home

Absolutely awesome place with lovely people and delicious food! Wonderful example of loving others. Chili was so good that we took a quart home. I wish that every town had one of these places! Vegetarian options: Several vegan options
