I've been to the Tannery a couple of times in the past year. It's cozy, and there's often someone curating music on two turntables. The kitchen is right at the bar, and I enjoy watching fantastic foods being prepared, as well as delicious cocktails being made. This place is good for a date, or hanging with a very small group.
5 stars is hardly enough. The Tannery is a Portland treasure. Order the fried chicken and waffle for the best brunch in Portland.
Pretty awesome place. Great music. Chill atmosphere. Great drinks.
Awesome hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Cultured individuals and well run place. A little pricey on drinks but the atmosphere is awesome. Maybe not great on a low budget, but definitely worth a visit! Also the close proximity to the hospital makes it an easy walk over.
What am awesome rustic feel! Small and cozy atmosphere. The burgers are amazing! We had the burger and the double cheeseburger sliders. Best burgers from coast to coast by far! The long melon cooler was an awesome refresher on the hot day we were there. Service was super accommodating as well
We went for brunch and loved it. A nice brunch without a huge wait or line. We enjoyed the patio but I went inside and it’s darling. Reminded me of a colonial style space you’d see in Philadelphia.
Attention to detail makes The Tannery stand out. Great cocktails and a few well-selected beers match a small but delicious, well prepared menu of refined comfort foods. The place has a charming vintage feel, with turntables and a great collection of records settled in the back.
