The Terrace On Grand

My wife and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary, an occasion that caused us to reflect back on the previous year and on our wedding day. In doing so, we couldn’t stop thinking about our amazing venue Terrace on Grand and its amazing staff—Heather in particular—who could not have done more to make our wedding so special. We are so so so lucky to have had our wedding here, and would highly recommend you do the same.

Our son's and new daughter's wedding was beautiful. The meal was fantastic. The event staff provided excellent service and worked like a professional well oiled machine.

Book. This. Venue! My fiancé and I looked at about 8 other venues and this was, hands down, the absolute best value for our urban wedding. The space- we had our ceremony on the rooftop terrace and that space just can’t be beat: beautiful wood floor, white fence with greenery, turf for grassy space, and an unbeatable view. Our reception was on their third floor and it’s so unique, beautifully detailed, spacious, and timeless. The lighting is beautiful and romantic. On the second floor, they have a full bridal suite with plenty of mirrors, outlets, and bathroom space. The entry hallway is beautiful and so fun and easy to decorate however you want. THE STAFF- I would book this venue just for the staff a million times again. Maggie is so sweet and so attentive and very detail oriented. So helpful the whole time! Emad. Is. The. Best. I cannot say enough good things about how supportive, helpful, and fun he was throughout the entire planning process. He does it all. He was so easy to get ahold of and very responsive with any planning questions we had. He helped coordinate our menu and every single detail of our ceremony and reception to create the perfect day. He’s the best wedding coordinator I could ever imagine- very thoughtful, very precise, and so, so kind. He even stands guard and deters visitors while you eat at the reception because he insists that newlyweds eat at their own wedding. Brilliant. He tends to every single detail throughout the event to make sure you’re doing alright, things flow smoothly, and you have the perfect day. He doesn’t miss a beat. Cannot say enough how wonderful he is. The extras- with this venue, you get the ceremony space, reception space, a bridal suite, an open bar, catering, and event staff all in one. It simply can’t be beat. Book while you can!

My daughter's late October wedding was everything she wanted it to be; Emad, Maggie, and all their staff pulled off this event flawlessly. The food was superb, the wait staff was so professional and the timing perfect. When the staff working behind the scenes can make so much happen so unobtrusively you know you picked the right venue! The decor was stunning, the table settings elegant and the rooftop at sunset sublime. Every time I run into friends or family that were lucky enough to attend they exclaim over how much fun they had and how impressed they were with the ambiance of this venue. The little details I would have botched or forgotten entirely were taken care of as part of our package. It was perfect. Thank you, Emad and Maggie!

This place was beyond amazing!!!! The staff was some of the best I've ever dealt with as for as party planning goes. They were there every step of the way for my event! And the service was beyond! The folks they have working there really enjoy what they do! They made my guest feel comfortable and they are all SUPER FUN!!! The food was delicious and everyone was so incredibly helpful! I will be using them again!

We had our wedding at The Terrace on Grand, and would highly recommend this venue. We were sold right away on the rooftop, location, and service after initially meeting with Heather to tour the venue. The rest of the staff and service continued to be excellent throughout the whole process. The venue itself was incredible. Amazing rooftop, and very cool ballroom reception area downstairs. We had some unique ideas we wanted to try how we set up and planned our reception, and they worked with us to make every idea happen just as we had pictured it. It could not have run more smoothly the day-of, and we didn't need to worry about a thing. We had some unexpected hitches pop up at the start of the reception, and they handled that beautifully keeping everything moving like pros. They worked with all of our vendors to make everything run smooth the day-of, and didn't bat an eye at any request or idea we threw out.

Amazing place for a venue! You cannot beat the view of the Kansas City sky from the rooftop!

Awesome venue for events with a beautiful rooftop overlooking the cityscape of Kansas city. From a rooftop space to a beautiful event space on the third floor. They also have another floor for the hosting party to use for changing and private purposes. Elevator for use to each floor and friendly staff catering to all your needs. I enjoyed the wedding I attended here and loved the decor. The rooftop space isn't incredibly large but hosts quite a bit of people. The event space on the 3rd floor is larger and has clean bathrooms. Worth taking a look of you are wanting to have a wedding or event.

What a great venue. My daughter was recently married there and I can't say enough good things to say about The Terrace on Grand. Both indoor and outdoor venues were beautiful. The staff was awesome and very attentive to our needs. Last but not least, the food was great. Thank you for making the event awesome.

Had our wedding here, first off the coordinators are both awesome. They worked towards helping me with my budget and trying to give my now wife the dream wedding. We loved the atmosphere and the place. The food was not very good, would have had an out of house catering company do it.
