Shipped through their outlet, the package got lost in the middle. Went to their store for more info and they said to call the toll-free number. Good luck finding a customer representative on that number.
Wanted to charge $5 to tape a box. What a joke. I’ve owned a few businesses and understand cost of business. But that’s a poor way to do business. I won’t be back.
Taylor at this UPS store was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond for my printing needs for my classroom! Everything on my flash drive was in the wrong format and instead of sending me on my way to convert them myself he spent over an hour doing all of it for me! I am so thankful for his help and hard work!! Thank you so much!
Doesn’t know it’s own ups rules or items that are prohibited and not. Refused to ship makeup when it’s not a prohibited item. Never have asked “is there makeup in this?” Before as I ship a lot with Mercari. I specifically looked up prohibited items and makeup is not one of them. So I went to a different ups store no questions no problem. Will be reporting this store to corporate so their so called managers and employees know how to do their job.
Neither of the two employees even acknowledged my entrance. The one other customer seemed to be walking the associate through the sale frustrated with his uncertainty. The other "brown" clown seemed to be half asleep on the phone, leaning on the counter with his hands empty. Empty hands that could have been helping me!?!. The other phone line rang off the hook loudly w/o answer, and when I was finally helped, just shy of 20 minutes later, BOTH phone lines rang at a ridiculous volume that was distracting at the very least! I asked if they needed my daughter to answer their phones for them jokingly, but hoping they would get the hint, but they made it sound like company policy forced them to ignore phones and only service folks at their counter?!? UPS...if true...change it, or turn volume down on ringers, or answer and place on hold. Those callers had enough time to Google your competitors and get a pick-up while waiting! Also, I was quoted between $16.85-$22.45 to ship one CD w/o a tracking number or rush!!! When he told me that USPS would be even more expensive and that he could prove it on his screen, i calmly said "any of the flat rate envelopes at USPS would be cheaper, faster, and given a tracking #. He smirked at me and said " you're wrong ma'am, I'm sorry, now would you like that upgraded to overnight"?!? I walked out, to USPS I went for a media flat rate of $3.65, but.....ended up with a standard parcel fee of $1.87:. BTW....when leaving UPS lot, the brown truck honked madly for me to get out of his way, and I understood he's on a time crunch, but the body language, raging horns, and apparent chewing out his lips articulated......uncalled for: Won't be back. The store on Minnesota avenue is always delightful though!
The best available. USPS can be quite competitive at times, forget about FedEx, UPS is the best shipping company out there. I've had no issues I can recall with them, whereas FedEx seams to mess it up at least half the time. UPS tracking works the best as well. Boxes never have shown up damaged or dented, whereas FedEx more often that not your package will have visible issues with the way the box was handled. I've had so many FedEx horror stories I can't name them all.
Sent my package around lunch time, had it prepaid for two day shipping and top of my box was open so I asked gentleman behind counter if he could tape it up which he charged me $1 for "tape service fee" $1 for maybe 10inches of tape?!! Not sure if it's a joke, but it ain't funny. If we getting so technical I overestimated my package dimensions and put 4lbs while package was only 2.5lbs give and take so should I be asking UPS for reimbursement??
Quick and efficient service. Very helpful associates--one associate heard me asking another about public restroom facilities and very courteously handed me a key as I was completing my shipping order. No problems at all. Except the rather low parking lot, which becomes a little like a lake after snow melting. But that's not the staff's fault!
Generally very satisfied with this place, but if you need a notary, never call and ask if they're still there. I did this at about 6:05 pm and was told they were there and generally stay until 6-6:15 pm. I arrived at exactly 6:10 pm and was told the notary had just left. Additionally, I was told in-store that they normally leave at 4pm and they'd actually stayed late ... well, which is it? It's enough that this person left knowing that someone was coming specifically to see them and arrived five minutes prior to the time the employee said the notary would be leaving, but to have an employee look you in the eye and directly contradict the information you'd been given just 5 minutes ago is something that will factor into my decision on whether or not to renew my UPS box.
Thomas was extremely hospitable, courteous, & well mannered. Got my package sent out no problem, never knew about a AAA discount he informed me of, UPS is doing it right, hire more people like him & give the man a raise!
