Fantastic space to work. Well run and friendly people there. Easily accessible to the green line and lots of good lunch options around. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Fantastic place for Coworking options in Newton and Brookline. They have a place in JP as well but I never made it over there. The team is super helpful with any questions and it’s a really nice vibe in the office. Plenty of options for seating to give different variety and easily reachable on transit off the Brookline Village stop but no comment on the Green Line. It’s great to get out of the house and use as a spot. Gym and great restaurants near by so it’s an awesome corridor.
The Village Works is a fantastic co-working space. The decor is gorgeous- I often get comments in my video calls of how beautiful it is. The kitchen is always extremely clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, and snacks. All spaces are fitted with the technology one would need. The spaces are well-suited for different types of work: phone friendly to absolute silence. I could not recommend it enough!
Great place to do some co-working if you don't have a dedicated office or space in your apartment. Everyone is very friendly, lots of good amenities, and priced pretty well comparatively to other places in the city.
If you want to get some work done, this is the place. I've visited solo, and also run several team meetings in assorted conference rooms. They have small, medium, and large; each was comfortable and easy to use. The decor and hospitality is a few notches above your average corporate space. The furniture is eclectic, curated for practicality as well as impeccable design. It's worth mentioning the huge selection of awesome restaurants right outside the door - lunch is never a problem. Easy to get to, right next to the green line and the 66 bus.
Beautiful, impeccably designed space. Kind, warm and helpful staff. A quiet and comfortable place to get work done, hold 1:1 or group meetings and drink delicious coffee. Joining The Village Works was one of the best business decisions I've made in a long time!
This is the nicest coworking space I have been to! It's a brand new space on multiple levels that is impeccably set up with a good variety of open working spaces, quiet areas, phone rooms, and conference rooms. There is a nice kitchen with delicious coffee and snacks, an efficient web-based reservation system for the phone and conference rooms, very fast internet of course, comfortable desks, chairs, and sofas, and a nice community feel. I'm here occasionally to visit family, so on the flex plan, but they have a few membership options to choose from. Overall, a solid five stars.
This place is amazing. First of all, everything is brand new. The space is open and calming, with great light. There's a perfect combination of shared work areas -- quiet enough to concentrate, but with enough energy to keep you awake and motivated -- and more private, silent workspaces. The owners are welcoming, and I'm looking forward to meeting some of the interesting people who choose to work here through some of the upcoming events. And I haven't even mentioned some of the perks. Seltzer on tap! A nut and berry mix that might actually include dried blueberries!! Truly, a notch above. Makes the idea of going to do work something fun.
The Village Works is a beautiful space and a great place to work. And would be a good fit for any type of person. There's a number of spaces to use, depending on your mood or project. Sometimes I like to use the quiet room, sometimes I crave being around others who occasionally need to chat or make a phone call. The folks who work there are good people and colleagues who are actively interested in and supportive of all the work members are doing. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there's even a well-soundproofed room you can use for podcast recording. Great for anyone who lives in surrounding neighborhoods, too, like JP, Fenway, Roxbury.
The obvious benefit for me is that it's closeish to home but far enough where I don't feel like I'm in my own back yard. That being said - the space, and the folks who both work here and run the space, are all wonderful people. It's calm, it's professional, it's clean, it's not loud, there's coffee, there are snacks - it's just a great space to visit. Highly recommend it.
