Staff, as usual on Marriott properties go above and beyond. Great location off the strip but central and walkable. The only issue to keep in mind is that the city is working on plumbing every night until October 2024. So they have nights with no water between 12am-5am. I think they should post that on their booking sites AND tell guests at check in that water issue my happen every night, SO people can plan accordingly. City works are out of their hands but better communication with guests would be helpful. That's why I gave less than 5 stars in room and service. I would probably stay here again!
This place was beautiful. There's no casino inside, so it smells fresh and clean. The rooms were spacious with a refrigerator. Northside rooms oversee the sphere and the largest ferris wheel in the US. There's a bar and restaurant downstairs and plenty of things to do around the area. Great place to stay. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Rooms: Spacious, clean, mini fridge. Nearby activities: Lots of stores and restaurants around the area Walkability: There are plenty of things to do and shop for around the hotel. The Strip is nearby and close to Hells kitchen at Ceasars Palace
Absolute luxury. Loved the fabulous stay at Westin Las Vegas. I'm delighted with the hospitality and humble attitude of the staff. The restrooms in the rooms are hygienic and cleaned properly. The rooms are cleaned and keep all stuff at specific spaces. The pool is awesome. Spectacular view from the rooms and delectable food. Truly a fabulous stay at Westin Las Vegas.
This was a really hard one for me to score. On the one hand, this was my near perfect chain hotel experience. On the other, they charged a “resort fee” which was pretty steep and buried in all the costs. In the end, I asked myself - would I go again? Sure. So I gave the high rating. Just be careful that they likely like all Vegas spots gouge you with a fee. The check in was flawless and they had everything there when I arrived. The room was great and clean. Loved that the AC didn’t lie to me but actually did what it said. The Tv auto shut off which was nice, just hit the OK if warned! Bathroom was nice even though it took FOREVER for the water to warm up each time. Loved it had a great Starbucks, decent restaurant and very well staffed bar. Best: no screaming slot machines in the lobby! Crazy close to the rail service so could quickly get most anywhere. Too close to the airport so never needed a car. So, liked it - just be aware that when reserving the price is about $30-40 too low.
My recent stay at The Westin was fantastic! The staff truly impressed me with their friendliness and attentiveness throughout my visit. Even before I arrived, the guest service manager reached out to personally welcome me. Their focus on guest comfort continued during my stay, with staff checking in to see if I needed anything. The front desk staff was equally efficient and friendly, making check-in a breeze. They even accommodated an early check-in at 10:30 am, which was a huge help! The room itself was excellent - clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated that the hotel is completely non-smoking, creating a fresh and enjoyable environment. Additionally, the absence of a casino was a big plus for me, as it ensured a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, my experience at The Westin was outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I will definitely be back again in the future! Food & drinks: They offered a welcome amenity - a free drink and dessert coupon for each night I stayed, which was great!
Fantastic hotel at a great spot between the famous strip and the Sphere. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are simple, but have everything you need. Breakfast is really okay. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.Rooms: 4/5
I was here on business had a great view and everything was okay. I feel it’s my duty to WARN OF SMOKING FEE I was charged on two separate days costing 400$ each! I thought this was a simple mistake I was there for almost a month it must have been a typo since I’m no smoker. After talking to the manager said there is no way remove the charge 800$ regardless of the circumstances.
I don't want to write this review because I don't want to get anyone fired, but if cleanliness and good hygiene are important to you, you should not stay at this hotel. I will never stay there again. On the bathroom counter I found a used contact lens I wear glasses and a very long strand of hair I have very short hair. The bathroom mirror had dried toothpaste on the surface. In the shower I found the same long strand of hair hanging from the soap dish. On the bathroom floor was dried coffee, or some beverage, along with crumbs and more hair. I think I found the other contact lens under the vanity. There was a puddle of water in the shower, so I don't know if that was left over from cleaning but given the hair on the soap dish, I doubt it. I found what I can only assume is snot on the bedside lampshade. I saw the same cocktail straw surrounded by crumbs on the floor near my room for at least 36 hrs. The duvet is so heavy and thick it just falls on the floor, and I refer to the issues in the bathroom to consider cleanliness in this case. I will say check in was quick. I appreciate a sundries shop and parking, but I can't overlook the contact lens. Management is clearly not paying attention.
Poor management experience at check-in AND billed an extra charge for no reason. Booked 2 rooms using my company's corporate rate. I wasn't sure how many rooms I could book using the rate so I took proactive measures by emailing Marriott, who guided me to call The Westin directly to inquire how many rooms I could book using the rate. The gentlemen at the Westin let me know I could book 2 rooms using the corporate rates with no issues. I also made sure to check on any FAQ's, policies, guidance, anything to prevent any mishaps from occurring at check-in. With this confirmation, I went ahead and booked 2 rooms using the corporate rate. Sadly even after spending all this time to ensure I had a smooth check-in, this was in fact the opposite. Upon check-in, the female helping me said I could only get one room under this rate and this was further escalated to the manager. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful, they kept showing me a print-out of the policy that they had "just printed off their website that morning." However when I went to look at that same part of the website, no where on the site specified this room limit as if it was removed and the printout was outdated. No matter how many times they tried to find this specific policy off their website, or through the app, they couldn't locate the same policy. At that point, I expected them to honour the rate given they had no evidence of this policy but the rude manager kept pushing back saying it was on there somewhere. At this point my significant other was calling Marriott to ask for help, and the Marriott representative on the phone even told them to honour it and was shocked we were getting such pushback from the hotel management. But again, the rude manager kept saying it's not up to Marriott but to take it up with the hotel's Director. All in all, the manager ended up honouring the rate after a stressful and overwhelming 1 hour experience, costing us precious time causing us to miss our dinner reservations that we had worked so hard to pre book months in advance. No compensations, apologies, or any credits of sorts were remotely offered for this huge inconvenience. Now after the trip, I received a random charge for $120 for which I have been calling the hotel for assistance. No one can seem to find this random charge, and I have called over 4-5 times with no assistance. Disputing through my credit card company now but overall, avoid this hotel as it seems other poor reviews are linked to random smoking charges the hotel has billed for which they can't get back!
Staying at the Westin was wonderful! The atmosphere was very wonderful and calm, considering it is very close to The Strip. It is nice to be within walking distance from The Strip, specifically Fremont Street. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Service was great, we were even given complimentary vouchers for the bar and the restaurant inside. The only downside was the pool. It was very nice, but VERY small. It was pretty packed, especially at peak hours. Otherwise, it was a very high quality experience. Nearby activities: Fremont Street, The Sphere, and Ferris Wheel. Walkability: Short walk to The Strip and downtown.
