Thelonious Monkfish

I always enjoy The Mad Monkfish for dine-in or takeout! They have a great selection of sushi as well as other food options! They have a vegetarian section of their menu which includes vegan items. The place is very busy on the weekends/for dinners so definitely make a reservation if you want to eat during those times. The atmosphere is fun and the decor is unique. But if you are having a more quiet night they do a great job with takeout!

Sushi with jazz music is the best! The atmosphere here was really nice, also the sake don with ikura was satisfying. We also tried the sleeping beauty roll, it has the flavor of mango that made the sushi roll sweet and refreshing. Highly recommended this place!

Was visiting Cambridge, and we came here on Sunday night around 5:30pm after Thanksgiving. It was not crowded and no waiting needed. Parking on street was easy at that time. Service was fine. The foods we ordered udon, sushi boat, pancake, and fries were all pretty good. The sushi were not outstanding but fine. Prices were on the high side but not unreasonable. It was a comfortable dining experience.

Great drinks, food, and service! Creative options for everyone. A wide drinks, coffee, and tea selection. Bao are delicious, modestly-priced uni, and fun maki rolls! Small bathroom with a sticky sliding door. Otherwise, great decor!

A great meal! Staff was attentive and the food came out quick. It was also affordable for the amount of food I got.. Highly recommend the fried squid legs and vegetable udon on a cold winter day

Really tasty Asian jazz bar/restaurant- I went here with my boyfriend and we got a whole bunch of food to share. I was so full afterwards but it was worth it. The jazz is in one part of the restaurant but we sat in the other dining area which still got pretty busy during dinner so I’d recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Great food!!! Super quick and kind service. Many vegetarian dishes as well as vegan and gluten free… inside is a bit loud yet not the worst! Def recommend!!!

Great ambience and very good food, slightly on the pricier end as sushi usually is staff was pretty nice and food came pretty quickly. Would recommend the fairy tale sushi! I got the red riding hood sushi which was one of the best sushi dishes I had in a while!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No

Delicious sushi! Unusually overpriced drinks $15 for the pictures glass and just okay service. Unless you flag them down, they aren’t coming to your table lol the sushi and sashimi was very fresh and delicious!!!

I had the chicken karee curry and curry fries, and both were amazing. Food was made perfectly, great blend of spices, live music inside, outdoor seating fantastic. Can’t praise this place enough.
