I ordered the crispy Chicken basil fried rice and, I'm blunt and truthful to an extent. The fried rice was great, just as flavorful as expected from most Thai restaurans I've been too. However, the chicken was VERY dry. I'm all about giving second chances so, let see if they'll improve. I'll be back again.
Affordable and delicious Thai food options popular among students. Recently got a takeout of their spicy beef pad thai, crispy duck curry, and shrimp pad see ew, and I enjoyed all of them. Both noodles had decent texture and the portions were perfect. The curry had a bit of an artificially sweet flavor, but the crispy duck was really good for the price. Definitely far better than other average Thai restaurants in town, and overall, a solid spot to get Thai food cravings satisfied.
very tasty and flavourful food, lot of options for vegetarians here. We ordered a thai red curry, green curry and panang curry photo attached. Curries come with a bowl of rice. Serving size is good for 1 person if you’re very hungry. Prices are reasonable, right next to the bus stop and Central T station.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
This is one of those, hole-in the wall type aces thats becoming a dying breed in Cambridge. My partner and I love this place and it feels very much like our go to local Thai spot. Not insanely amazing but it always gets the job done if your looking for comfort and thai rolled into one Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
As far as Thai cuisine goes, this is a well-acclaimed choice in the area, so I had been eagerly hoping to try it for some time. When we arrived to pick up our takeout, I was very impressed by the interior of the restaurant. While it's not a very big space, there are plenty of tables and there would have been availability if we had chosen to dine in on that weekday night. The décor gave off a lovely ambiance that felt both authentic and modern. The employees were also quite pleasant and helpful. We got the potato puffs as an appetizer, which were nice to try one time, and I sprung for drunken noodles with tofu. Given that it was already vegetarian, I was hoping for more vegetables in the mix, but as you can see from the picture, the splashes of color green beans and bell peppers are pretty sparse. I actually wanted the medium spice level but got mild - I'm not sure if it was user error or a mistake on their part, but I definitely wish the spiciness was kicked up a notch. The portion for the entrée wasn't a ton of food, but the taste of what was there was quite satisfying. 3.5 stars. Vegetarian options: vegetarian friendly
Review based on the food only. Small mom and pop shop. Nothing fancy. Staff was nice and attentive. Food came out really quick. Been wanting to try this spot. Wasn’t really impressed. Food was a little on the bland side. Drunken noodles was not flavorful, only spicy. The only curry we ordered was a bit in the runny side.. pretty much water consistency. The Basil and Chili entree wasn’t balanced and more in the salty side. Maybe that’s normal but I’ve never had it like that. Small place. Staff was nice and attentive. Food came out really quick. Lastly, not sure if it is the normal but our dishes had an absurd amount of onion. It’s almost like they ran out of veggies and put extra onions as filler to the dish. I like onions so I was fine but those who doesn’t like onions.. shouldn’t be in a Thai restaurant kidding!. They’d probably find it overwhelming.
The Tom yum soup and spring rolls are to die for! Chicken satay was also pretty good. We also tried the red and yellow Thai chicken curries, they were ok. Very reasonable prices. If you're ordering take-out, the prices in-store are slightly cheaper than their website or delivery services.
I never give reviews but this is a special place. I have been going for 6years now!! The quality of the food is just wonderful as well as the people. Fact worth noting: the two times I ordered not spicy and I got the dish spicy they replaced it immediately which I really appreciate :
Very tasty red curry with a couple vegetables although not enough food for me. I ended up stopping @ clover for a falafel and cabbage with some kind of dressing on a pita to round out my meal. The price was right the staff was courteous and very helpful.
Awesome spicy and regular pad thai. The appetizers are really good too — we particularly like the chicken satay and scallion pancakes. The staff could not be nicer and their delivery service is excellent so fast.Recommended dishesChicken Satay, Spicy Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle
