Rod Dee

Rod Dee Thai is my go-to Thai restaurant. Their yummy food never disappoints me. It has good selection of Thai food items and prices are very reasonable. The food usually come out quick. I like Rad Nar seafood rice noodle, Kai soi yellow noodle in curry sauce with chicken, Indonesia fried rice with crispy chicken, and stir fried silver noodle. Please note that this restaurant is under renovation now in April if you plan to visit any time soon.

Best Thai place in Cambridge! Their pad Thai is consistently delicious and they offer lots of options on protein and spice level. Also a huge fan of their Rod Dee noodles soy sauce and sweetness flavors really shine and their mango sticky rice!!

Cash only. During winter you get hot tea! Hard to find good Thai in Boston, the Rod Dee chains are one of my go-to's. Pad Thai veg, papaya salad, Thai boat noodle, and crab dumplings are some frequent orders I get.

They don’t have staff to seat you, it’s help yourself water/utensil/condiment, which I quite like actually. Ordered pad Thai with crispy chicken, add $1 dollar you can extra amount of noodle for those who caked in hungry. The pad Thai was delicious and tastes authentic, but the crispy chicken was over fried, tasted too hard with some part even blackened. The drunken noodles are truly amazing! Everything is fresh and tasty. I never miss going to Rod Dee when I am in the neighborhood.

I refuse to go to any other thai place than this. Awesome food, great prices & always a smiling staff. It's quite a popular small place, so from time to time it will be crowded enough to where there are no more seating areas.

GREAT food and good prices. Hands down the best Thai food I've had. Not always consistent though. 9/10 times, the red curry is perfect and flavorful, but every once in a while, it's bland and no better than any other place. I have never let that stop me however. This place is the only reason I still carry cash.

Rod Dee is one of a few best Thai restaurants in Boston! And trust me, I'm from Thailand. I really like the crispy basil fried chicken here and the boat noodle, always order those. Everything else that I have tried here were delicious too. There are a few locations but I like the Porter Square one the most because it is so close to the subway and more spacious than other location. It is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM inside

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! EXCELLENT FOOD!! The food is so delicious, the best Thai food I have ever eaten while out, it is so fresh and flavorful! The people are so lovely, very kind and they will accommodate special requests. The food is brought out very fast, which is nice because I'm always so anxious to delve into my dish. Rod Dee is also very reasonably priced, which is refreshing. Rod Dee is definitely my favorite restaurant, I love coming here!!

Would've rated 5 stars if they accepted credit/debit and were a bit more personable. Cozy, casual place with great fast Thai food. If you can get past the cash only drug dealy feel and the indifferent staff, the food is good.
