If I could give Laurie and the team at Think more than 5 stars I would. Laurie was honest, direct, and more knowledgeable than any other realtor we’ve worked with. She is well known and respected in the community and always has her client’s best interests at heart. Her team is through, helpful and highly supportive. We will never work with another realtor again. Give this team a shot and you won’t be disappointed!

My fiancee and I worked with Laurie at Think Real Estate for our first home purchase. She is incredible! She gave us very detailed overview of the process, so that we knew what to expect / when to expect it. She and the team accommodated our crazy schedule to get viewings in after work and on the weekends. Their attention to detail helped us to find a house below our budget that fit all of our needs. She even took a picture of us receiving the keys to share with our families : Loved working with this team, and Laurie in particular! Can't recommend highly enough.

Our experience purchasing our first home with Chandra Ashford was fantastic. As total novices, Chandra held our hands throughout the entire process, was super communicative, went out with us every weekend, was totally patient with us and made us feel totally taken care of. Chandra helped us purchase and then sell our first home and both experiences were amazing. I have only used one other real estate agent at this time since Chandra only works in Oregon and I didn't like it - would have preferred Chandra. Chandra is great at explaining the processes, communicating current statuses and providing updates. When selling she was also able to get a handyman for us on very short notice and was able to arrange everything in my absence since I moved out of state. A truly lovely lady, highly recommend.

As a first-time home buyer, I had a very positive experience working with Laura Wood and Laurie of Think. A long-time Portland resident, Laura was incredibly helpful and experienced in the nuances of the hot Portland housing market. She possessed a depth of knowledge of the different neighborhoods, schools, physical characteristics of different houses, and where to invest strategically in terms of building equity. I felt like she had my best interests in mind through the whole process. It was like having a smart, savvy, well-connected, and trusted friend throughout the process. She also has a really good sense of humor and is very personable and put me at ease, even with my tumult of first-time buyer questions. In a rush to find a house quickly, she talked me out of a couple of houses that ultimately wouldn’t be the best investment for me. She was honest and open, and it was obvious that she wasn’t just trying to make a commission. I ended up finding a really great place with her help. I highly highly recommend.

Amber and her team are absolute rockstars!! I bought my first house with Amber years ago and she made the process easy and explained everything along the way. When I bought my second house in another state I continuously wished I’d had Amber to walk me thru it all and realized just how amazing she was then. Now selling my Portland house couldn’t be in better hands!! Renters had trashed the place and Amber was able to work with my budget to get it back up to par for the market. She handled everything including working with the contractors and finding the best prices. You can’t go wrong here!

We were completely satisfied with the service we received from Laura Wood and Think realty. We chose Laura upon recommendation from a friend and past client of hers. We were attracted to her long-time commitment to the area and clear knowledge and love of Portland and of her work. She first met with us after-hours, at her office when she was sick! Though the process itself was often very daunting and it was hard to keep our hopes up at times, Laura and her team were 100% accessible, extremely knowledgeable and had our interests in mind. There was also 0% pressure. We never go the sense that we were inconveniencing them or not making decisions fast enough. Laura made the process so much more tolerable and I can’t emphasize the extent to which she was available and working on our behalf. She is patient, funny and knowledgeable. Laura pulled off some Jedi-Ninja negotiations with the owner of the house we bought which really helped our pocket book and improved the quality of our investment. She’s amazing! Chandra Ashford was amazingly knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with buying our first home. We had a short timeline between leaving our rental and purchasing a house, so short I didn’t even think it was possible, but Chandra made it happen. It’s been over 2 years now since we closed on our home, and she’s still available to answer any questions or make a referral for someone to do repairs and maintenance.
