Third Street Social

Everything was so delicious! I've rarely eaten at a place where everything was absolutely delicious! I had the Pork Loin and the pork, grits, greens, and corn bread was absolutely perfect! The old fashioned was on point. The pineapple upside down cake cocktail tasted exactly like an actual cake. I couldn't rave about this place more. We definitely will be back! I guess it might be a bit pricey, but you will definitely get your money's worth. Perfect for a date or a group brunch.

Wow! The food here is divine! Honestly the best brunch I have had in Kansas City so far! The atmosphere is edgy and fun. We had deviled eggs as an app (great, unique flavor). I had biscuits and gravy and my husband had the country fried steak! So good!

My wife and I came here for happy hour (3-6) and dinner. First, the happy hour only applies to half the restaurant next to the bar. That was not relayed to us until after we were sat. I was able to go to the bar to order happy hour drinks, but it seemed sort of silly. I'll give them credit, the drinks were quite good. Next, the food. My wife got the Black Angus steak filet (?). The flavor of the steak was good, and it was tender. The mashed potatoes were blended with blue cheese, which she likes, but it was too overpowering and she couldn't finish the potatoes. The plate cost almost $40, and was not worth the cost. We've eaten far better steaks in this town for less. I got a spicy fried chicken sandwich, which was fine but nothing special. Finally, I give credit to our server. She did an excellent job. I would recommend this place for happy hour, but I wouldn't recommend it for dinner.

Delicious, is all that needs to be said about Third Street social. Their food is wonderful. I have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. If you have not been there then you definitely need to go.

Did brunch today. Great service, good selection, moderate prices. Flexible menu. Good for groups, staff had np problems with 16 people. Cocktails, bottomless mimosa's today. Historic building.
