Story

Thrive™ was founded by Ron Rubin in 2003. He has worked in the green industry since 1985 and attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, one of the nation's foremost forestry schools, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. Preferring to preserve and maintain trees rather than harvest them, Ron began his career in Arboriculture. Upon graduating from college, Ron went to work for an Arboricultural company in the suburbs of New York City. In the fall of 1989, Ron and his family relocated to Reston, Virginia, to work for a national arboricultural company until January 2003 when Ron started his own company, offering personal and customized Horticultural/Arboricultural services to trees in the Washington DC area.
