Story

Thriveworks Marietta Counseling (we also offer life coaching!) is far from a typical mental health practice. Actually, Thriveworks is the first counseling practice of its kind — a network of mental health professionals who are committed to helping you in your moment of need, not weeks after you call counseling office after counseling office leaving sensitive voicemails that are seldom returned.

We understand that for many people, even deciding to call a counseling office can be a major feat. We want to honor that initiative by being available to pick up when you call. You’ve spent days — if not weeks, months or years — going through periods of pain. Your Ego, who likes the way things are and wants to keep them this way, is telling you to be ashamed of your struggles. But you’re Ego is misguided: We all experience seasons of joy and despair.
