Good savory waffles. Vegan and gluten free options. Next time we will try the dessert waffles, which look great. I ordered the Thai Basil Chicken waffle, which was OK. I don’t know if there was any Thai basil in it? And the chicken tasted like sliced rotisserie chicken breast from Costco . The waffle tasted much better w the syrup. Husband ordered the Gluten Free turkey sausage egg and cheese sandwich, which he really enjoyed. Portions aren’t very large so if you’re really hungry, you may need to order a savory and dessert waffle. Skip the blended drinks — it was overpriced for what you get. Mine had too much ice blended, so I couldn’t even drink it w the straw.
Found this place completely by accident, but we are so glad we did! The drinks and waffle we got were both awesome, and the atmosphere was really good too! We ordered the honey cream latte and the wild berry lemonade, and split a butter pecan waffle. The latte lived up to its name and was sweet and creamy, clearly made with real honey. The lemonade was a blended drink and wasn’t too sour or too sweet. The waffle really stole the show, though, topped with a mountain of whipped cream, candied pecans, and caramel sauce. It was gone in no time flat! In addition to the food, the staff were super nice and there was a line the whole time we were there, so clearly this is a popular place.
The waffles themselves are very tasty and light. I think there are a few very small things they can do to put their menu over the top. I got the viva sandwich, veggie sandwich and the peanut butter waffle option. Again not bad just nothing to write home about. Probably could use more sauce on the sandwiches and more effort on the prep of the ingredients to have some additional flavor, just felt slapped on and out of place. The "fruit" side was just extra Bananas?!?!? Staff was really nice and to be fair it seemed like they were training someone when we came in and it was busy. Lattes are good.
This is a Hole-in-the-wall coffee and waffle place. This location is located off Maryland and Flamingo inside of the same parking lot as Target. I went here for breakfast. The espresso is not overly priced like some other places. Starting at $1.90 a shot, and .65 cents add on. Waffles ranging for $5.00 and up.
We tried the cookie butter waffle seasonal, and the Thai basil waffle. Both were really good, the sweet waffle was VERY sweet with toasted marshmallow, chocolate chips and cookie butter. I really enjoyed the savory option as well. The pistachio latte with oat milk was delicious! We came when it was pretty quiet and our food came out quickly. The workers here are friendly and helpful!
The food and people that work here are great! The only reason one star came off is because it took sooooo long for our food to come out. While dining in, the coffee was finished about 10 minutes after ordering but the food took another 28 minutes for a table of 2. For a simple waffle breakfast sandwich, that is an absurd amount of time. I still would recommend this place but maybe avoid the busy times or wait until they get another waffle maker; 2 doesn't seem to be enough for timely food.
I stopped by for breakfast and ordered the Turkey, Egg, and Cheese waffle sandwich with avocado added. I also purchased a latte that arrived with milk art!!! I placed my order at 853am and received my food approximately 15mins later, which I believe is more than enough time for fresh food. The restaurant was clean, neat, and well lit. Plenty of customer seating and free HIGH SPEED wifi. The staff was friendly and professional. I was greeted upon entry and thanked upon exit. I believe the staff member that was assisting me was named Ian and he and the entire rest of the staff were great. My order totalled $14 and I believe at the time of this review exceeded the fair market value of the experience. There are faster and cheaper options in the Valley but if you are looking to enjoy a boutique experience in an easy and relaxed environment this place on a Monday morning is going to be hard to beat. Keep up the great work and I will continue to say great things about such an amazing location. Deal?
I’m fairly disappointed with the way things are going at Tiabi nowadays. When I first started going there a couple years back, they were so quick and efficient. The food was always fresh and in good proportions…now it’s kinda sad. It takes over 35 minutes to make a sandwich and I didn’t even get what I ordered. They basically served me a waffle with salad. For the most part the food is still fresh and made to order but I paid extra for avocado and what I get is one slice of old avocado, seen in photo. They were out of some ingredients so I had to go home and use my own. Coffee is still good but ordering the food is kind of like a joke now. And as someone who also works in the food industry…I can strongly say I’d get more bang for my buck just assembling a sandwich at home.
Great place to sit and do some work. Cute coffee shop that isn't too crowded or noisy. I was able to complete a bit of work while sipping on my delicious iced Pistachio Latte. Initially I was reluctant but after the first sip I was hooked! so much so that I came the very next day for another latte hahah. I also tried their West Coast sandwich. It was fresh, flavorful, and a good meal if you want something light. The staff is friendly and gave me their input on their personal favs. Overall, I will def be coming back!
