Tibetan Care™ is a Manhattan-based employment agency—fully licensed, bonded and insured—designed to find your family the most qualified and gentlest nanny or adult companion, thoroughly safety-trained and ready to work from Day One.

Our nannies combine the Buddhist tradition of gentleness and compassion with years of real-world experience and advanced training in First Aid, CPR, Safe Sleeping, Early Intervention and more. Read more about our unique approach.

COMPLIMENTARY POSTPARTUM DOULA CARE FOR NEW MOTHERS

Expectant mothers who use our service will also receive two free postpartum visits from a qualified Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).

Services include breastfeeding support and maternal postnatal care. Your Doula will also educate wife, husband and siblings on baby care.

Birth Doula care (comfort and support during labor and delivery) is also available for a separate fee.

I am pleased to write a review for Tibetan Care and its owners Eric and Pema. I have a four year old special needs daughter with a G-tube. My wife wanted to go back to work so we needed a nanny. I knew it would be very difficult to find a nanny because people are afraid of G-tube. I performed a random search on Google for a nanny agency and selected Tibetan Care. Somewhere, in my heart I knew that maybe Tibetan care can find someone for me. I filled out the form on their website. Eric called me and verified the information and told me that he would do his best, but it might be difficult. Eric and Pema started to search for a nanny for me diligently and worked 24/7 on my case. They found some candidates, but after interviews they refused because they got scared of G-tube. Eric and Pema did not give up; they redouble their effort. I did not want to contact any other agency because I knew if Eric and Pema cannot deliver, then no one can. Eric gave me good news pretty fast that Pema has found a nanny with a nursing background. The nanny is wonderful and skillful. We trained her and she has been taking care of my daughter since June 2022. We are extremely happy with the nanny and services that we got from Eric and Pema. I do not think any other agency would have been able to find a nanny for my daughter. No one could have helped me due to G-tube. Eric and Pema work as a team and they are very efficient and ready to offer help if needed. They will respond to your emails/phone calls promptly. I would like to give you an example of their effectiveness. Recently, my regular nanny was out for two days, Pema and Eric found a substitute nanny with a nursing background for us in just one day. We are lucky that Tibetan Care based in Manhattan. Because of Eric and Pema, my wife is working and my special needs daughter is well taken care of. I truly hope that my story gives hope to many parents who have special needs children and want someone to take care of them. Please contact Tibetan Care. Eric and Pema are outstanding! Excellent - Tibetan Care set us up with a wonderful nanny part time for our daughter and we were 100% happy with the process. We had a last minute need and had multiple excellent candidates set up for us within a couple of days. I have been a loyal customer of Tibetan Care for 2 years. You will not find another excellent, well-run, communicative nanny agency better than this one! The backstory to my current nanny, is that the nanny I had hired to help with baby care for my second child fell through THE DAY before my delivery. Imagine the stress levels! Luckily, I contacted Pema and Eric owners of Tibetan Care and they came through, and set up a nanny meeting for me IN THE HOSPITAL! The nanny and I hit it off, and she has been with us ever since 2 years. The nanny they assigned was kind, responsible, hardworking, clean, and most of all, reliable, and loves my children as her own. I have muscular dystrophy and Pema, at Tibetan Care, has sent me caregivers for the past 4 years. At first I needed part time care but now require help 7 days a week. The women I have been able to work with have all been exemplary and Pema has always been there for me.
