Amazing and beautiful place to spend time.
More a plaza than a park. There is a large sculpture area and the obelisk to look at, but not much green space several levels of stairs, benches, and the path along the waterfront. It isn't really a destination but more somewhere you travel through. But still pleasant!
Great waterfront walking trail. Good for strollers. Not too many bikers, mostly people walking. Can be breezy. Lots of planes going overhead. Watched an air show from here one time and it was , made my day.
I enjoyed the scenery. It was fun.
Great place to take pictures
Peaceful and great walk alongside the Potomac river...simply beautiful!!
