I'm only giving it 3 stars because I'm visiting this area in the Winter 2022. Based on what I've seen, I'm almost 100% sure this area is awesome when its warmer weather. Cozy, great place to take photos, watch the airplanes, and catch the boats and birds passing by. It's inexpensive and probably a good place for a first date to chit and chat. My girlfriend loves the water so it was fitting that we spent time here. The next time I visit, I'll probably eat at one of the many near by restaurants. Enjoy
This park is Located near historic old town Alexandria, this is one of the best places to visit. Water front walk is so cool. Some of the best restaurants, Starbucks, Ben& Jerry are walkable distance. Weekends are bit crowded, there’s plenty of street side parking including few right in front of the park, you can use park mobile app to pay max 2hrs. There are some daily parking near by which costs $10-$20 on peak summers. Worth a visit with family and friends
The park's latest art installation, R &R Studio's I Love You, provided the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding ceremony on a lovely summer day. The artists wanted to provide an open air setting for unexpected encounters that bring people together. They certainly succeeded. How wonderful to share Chloe and Matt's special day. I hope others will be inspired to make use of this special space before it's gone in November.
Very pretty waterfront with a bike path and nice walking area. Dog park along the river walk as well as restaurants and cafes. Be careful of the edge of the water for dogs and young kids, there is no railing.
This is one of the most beautiful places to spend your evening. There is live music. You could sit by the river bank and watch the ducks. The surrounding is lively and I would definitely recommend this place
Nice and serene place to hangout. There are benches and swings available. One can watch the birds, the plane flying and boats. There are tons of lovely dine in place nearby. I went on a rainy day and so the closest one block was quite flooded by water but it was still pretty enjoyable. The river in the rain feels like an ocean.
A beautiful place to spend the day. Plenty of restaurants and shops to occupy everyone in your group. It's simply a nice place to relax and have a pleasant walk.
Gaylord hotel National Harbor. Beautiful light show and indoor natural atrium. It's so beautiful sunset, watching the sun set from 17th floor at Gaylord Hotel National Harbor.
Nice place to walk after food! Here some pics of the Groundswell temporary public art exhibition October 2021 showing the topography of the Potomac river floor.
Went here at night and it had really big, bright neon lights. A street performer was doing amazing electric guitar solos. It was like another world.
