This place has the best barbecue in the city. Kind, hardworking folk. Meat made right out front. The place bleeds Louisville pride. Honestly, it's worth the drive from Lexington on a day off but only if you truly love good food.

The food is amazing. The staff makes you feel like y'all known eachother for years. Definitely recommend this place to everyone every chance I get!!

Great cooking. Tender Ribs and thick hot dogs you can sink your teeth into. Awesomeness. Everyone's welcome. Black owned business.

Everything that came off the grill was great. Well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The sides however were not good. The potato salad tasted like store bought, the greens were bland, and the sweet potatoes were syrupy sweet. The cake tasted store bought as well. Will return for BBQ only.

Love this place. It is a family-run place and it isn't fancy but the food is awesome. If you like smoked meat and barbecue, this is definitely your place.
