What a great place with delicious foods and live music. I have been several Jazz club/bar/restaurant in the states and this placed served the best foods I've ever had. Live music was great. They played their own song which was very cool. They let people bring their own instruments and play with them and I loved their performance. The foods.. wow. The best pork belly dish I've ever had in my life. I am Korean American so I ate tons of pork belly dishes in my life and it was melting in my mouth. Calamari was good but they need to improve their sauce in my opinion. The waitress provided great service. She was very friendly and helpful on choices of foods & drinks. Do not miss this awesome this place when you are in Philadelphia. You will not regret to be here. By the way, they have great price on happy hour. Don't forget to check out the menu and time on their website.
Atmosphere was top notch. Live music was stellar! We were expecting more traditional jazz but the hybrid was fun and the DJ, drummer and sax player killed it. THE FOOD! Outstanding, calamari was def my favorite. Compliments to the chef, service & musicians.
Mood was fairly mellow for a Friday, not sure if that was a result of the weather frigid December night or the impending holiday. Would have loved to have a few more choices on the menu, and the lighting really shouldn't have been turned down until the band was coming on...
Great atmosphere for local music, generous service and decent beers. It's close to city hall and many other great night life locations.
Great drinks, music and vibes all around. During live performances bar is usually quite loud but makes perfect sense at a jazz bar.
I visited this bar on a Saturday night almost right before large crowds of people visited. I ordered an old fashioned and stood in the corner trying not to get in people's way. The staff are quite friendly even though they're busy, and the drink had a rich and sweet flavor. It's a good place to start the night, but it might be best to leave before it gets too busy.
Decent bar often with live music. Two rooms make it nice as can move to other room if want to talk without yelling over the music. Bartender service is a bit slow. People watching there is great.
Another very crowded business near the gayborhood and was surprised to know that it is a jazz bar. It was difficult to get the waiters or bartenders attention on a Saturday night. Would have definitely liked to see with the menu was like but overall it was a nice visit for the first time.
This is hands-down my favorite jazz bar to go to in the city. The drinks are beyond reasonably priced. Usually these other bars are overcharging $15 for a glass of wine where it is half the price at Time. They also play trap music and hip-hop in one of the bar sessions, and the live music is unreal. Legitimately they have two Grammy award winning musical artists that are a weekly fixture at this bar, it’s pretty incredible. There is a third night club section upstairs if you’re in the mood to listen to some bumping music and dance around. Leslie, the food is really really good. I’m at the sous chef and they clearly put a lot of effort into making bacon. If you like fish get the black bass.
Great live music spot! The lady jazz singer has such a powerful voice. Also, they play hip hop live music with a dj on Friday night. Not the best spot to chat with your friends cause the music is too loud, but a perfect place to enjoy the ambiance, singers, djs, and have a great night surrounded by great jazz/hip hop songs.
