My son began training here a few months ago and I will forever be grateful. He was only 5 during his first class and having all kinds of trouble at school and at home. Aggression, defiance, inability to listen or sit still or follow directions/activities in class, not to mention the fights with his brothers and fits at home. He is thriving at school now! His behavior at home improved greatly and his mood is happier. The principal phone calls stopped, he looks forward to training, and is so proud of what he learns. He was immediately welcomed and supported by his coaches in class and by the owner, Scott. He still has his moments and areas of improvement, but he now has an environment that is helping him learn self-discipline, body control, and respect. What a transformation for our energetic boy and we look forward to watching his skills develop!
I have been here a year now and can't say enough about how good this place is. I have two boys who go with me every week and they have transformed. They have a lot more confidence but are extremely respectful. They know what it feels like to work hard towards a goal and earn something through hard work. Ever since I have been here I have been treated like a family. It's not a bunch of people who try and act better than you. The technique here and attention to detail is amazing during class. The coaches genuinely care about your progress. Nothing is given here, only earned.
I’ve been training at TNT for years, Coach Scott is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and great to work with. Coach Alex takes pride in helping his students and goes the extra mile. Coach Jimmy is an amazing person, the hardest worker in the room, and such an inspiration to us all. The assistant coaches and students are serious and help one another as well. If you are looking for REAL self defense or want to be a professional fighter, this is the place for you. I will always take pride in training with TNT.
I have been going to TNT for a few years and absolutely love it. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, and excellent teachers that are patient. The overall atmosphere is great and people are super helpful. Highly recommend TNT if you are an absolute beginner or very experienced!
To be fair, it’s hard to express how grateful I am for the training and camaraderie I get from TNT staff and teammates. This is a world class gym with great curriculum that starts with the basics and builds from there, I have attended other schools and programs and it’s often times a wing it approach to teaching or higher level technique that is above a majority of the group/class. If you’re looking for a spot to train then please give TNT, Scott and team a try, you won’t regret it!
This place is very good. Joined a few months ago and i fell In love with the gym and the staff. They’re all very very nice and welcomed me and my cousin with open arms. They are very qualified and it’s possibly the best choice I’ve made in a long time signing up for these courses. Highly recommended
I intend no disrespect towards any of my previous schools; I learned a lot from them all. However, Scott Tannenbaum , your school is at the top. Your self-defense/MMA approach to Jiu Jitsu is what I was previously looking for but could not find: -12 years ago I originally took up Jiu Jitsu because I wanted to fight in some amateur MMA boughts. I didn't know where to begin, but I remembered how well Royce Gracie did, so I figured that's where I would begin. Well some time after I got my blue belt, I overheard an instructor say, "Sport Jiu Jitsu is the complete opposite of anything that you would want to do in an MMA fight." I thought to myself "Why on earth did I waste a year and a half on my life on this??" They didn't offer Self Defense classes either. They did have boxing, wrestling and Muay Thai classes. They did have a great, dedicated MMA class, but I had to get special permission. That was the only class where students could learn about defending strikes on the ground, and it wasn't available to everyone. -A bit later I went to a very well known school in NorCal which also had an MMA school and many active UFC and MMA fighters. Well I joined and started taking Gi Jiu Jitsu classes. After class one night I asked a staff member, "What class should I go to if I wanted to learn how to defend a punch.?" She looked at me genuinely perplexed and said, "You want to learn how to fight?" I said, "uhh...uh...well yah,,I guess...I want to be able to defend against a punch." She said, "Well you're going to need to go to our MMA school for that. So this was a long winded way of saying that your approach Bjj is by far the best.
Love this gym. Walked in without a lick of experience. Coach Scott, Coach Jimmy, Coach Alex….the whole team has made me feel right at home. Been going regularly for over 5 years and never had a bad experience. It’s my home away from home. Actually! I’d rather be here than home
There is no better place than TNT MMA Training Center. The techniques taught are highly effective and the coaches are highly knowledgeable. I absolutely love going to TNT after a long day of work and training with my TNT family. Overall, the coaching is phenomenal and the culture is outstanding. I highly recommend stopping by for a class. You will be glad you did!
