Established since 1928, this is a family-owned and operated business. I had the pleasure of meeting Tony III, I assume, grandson of the original founder. It was a delight to have him work on my hair, as he has very gentle and steady hands, listens to you, and is a bit of a perfectionist while still working pretty fast. The conversation and ambiance loved the pop oldies in the background completed the package for me. As I said to Tony, he sure got himself a returning customer! If you like what you read and are between barbershops or just not entirely pleased with your current one, you should definitely check Tony's out!
Family owned barber shop that's in transition to the younger generation. Tony Senior gives cuts for longtime locals, and his kids takeover mid morning through the day. Tony Jr has been cutting my hair for over four years, and I've always been very pleases. I moved a bit from Andrew but always make the trip back. Prices are great, and so is the quality of cut. This is a multigenerational family-owned business. You're going to get authenticity on the inside. Photos of the Tony's singing through the years, images of Boston past, and and old school barbershop. It's not industrial chic like newer places, but that's also what makes this place special. There aren't others like it.
I've been getting my hair cut here for 40+ years, there's no better place, Millie & tony are the best!
I feel bad about this review-I do, But it needs to be said. Tony is a sweet guy who probably used to cut hair really well but is now too old to do it. I had to go to another barber afterwards to fix what he had done. I really wouldn’t recommend it.
Great place to go for a haircut. Friendly family owned and operated business.Services: Hair shape up
My wife and i were travelling through while on holiday from Australia and was a breath of fresh air to have met Tony. Top bloke, great haircut.
