These guys are the cat's pajamas. I had another cobbler hold my shoes for a week and then tell me they couldn't fix the zipper on one, and they changed the soles on the other pair but left it where it was separating from the base a bit. I took them to Tony's and he fixed the zipper up perfectly and in a timely mannerpractically overnight because I was leaving for a trip the next day and wanted them ready, unfortunately I wasn't able to get them picked up in time but he had them done!! Came back from Burning Man and they got the desert dust out of my leather shoesno small feat and fixed the heels on another great pair I had, but that I had stopped wearing because of the heel. Pricing is appropriate for the quality of work! Now my official go-to for shoe repair! Thank you Tony's!
So quick and friendly!! I asked for only 1 boot heel repaired and got back both good as new. Affordable and all around high quality.
I lost the plastic thing attached to heel and he put a new plastic to the broken pair and the other pair. I paid $20. He was so helpful and smiling
Honestly, their service is good and they are quick but they gave me a slip with their wrong hours and when I got there they were closed. So, I had to travel and needed my bag which they kept it. No one answered me with enough time to help me figuring this out. They lost my trust.
I brought an older pair of shoes for repair. After checking them out, the man told me it wasn't worth repairing them. He said he could do but it would be about 70-80 dollars so if i didn't have an emotional connection to them to just get rid of them. So while I can't give 5 stars for their work, I can give them 5 stars for their honesty. I will definitely be bringing any shoes i need repaired here just because of it. Great experience.
5 star review for honesty, even though I didn't actually purchase a repair. I brought in some inexpensive boots that I really like, where the fabric at the heel is starting to tear. I was hoping to get some kind of patch to stop the tearing before it gets worse. The man at the counter took a look at them and explained to me in detail why it was actually a tricky thing to fix. He walked me through all sorts of things he could try and why he thought they wouldn't actually work long-term due to various reasons like the specific fabric of the boots, or it just being more expensive than the boots were worth. I walked away without getting anything done and feeling just fine about it. Thanks for the honesty!
Well, I’m revising this down dramatically. $4 surcharge to use a credit card for shoe shine service. Yes, there are signs all over the room advising as much, but this is a terrible terrible move to retain business in today’s day. Nobody carries cash for a shoe shine. A much better approach is a sign to advertise higher prices that offers a DISCOUNT when paying cash. I understand this new pricing is in response to an economic need of the owner, but it’s a penalty to their best customers. Sad, this approach will backfire over time, and they’ll either change their approach or lose business. I wish them well and hope they revise the approach slightly. They are good guys and do a great job, but they are making a marketing mistake.
NEVER GO TO THIS SHOP. ZERO STARS. I don't like wasting time writing reviews but this needed it. They did a half a** job and needed almost a week to do it. The boots were still dirty. The glue was done sloppy. And they didn't offer to reduce the fee when it was obvious they didn't do a good job. But at least they give a nice smile while they take your money. Terrible service, no pride in their work, and overpriced. There's better shops around.
A+++ work done quickly at a reasonable price. I am an extremely picky person and I like things done to perfection. I looked for some time for a shoe cobbler, read a ton of reviews, took a chance on a couple, and I have now found the perfect place for me. They brought a 20 year old leather purse back to life, fixed two pairs of shoes and a pair of boots, added non skid soles, etc. They were done within a day and they even painted some scuffs and shined my shoes. I will continue the come back as I am now a fan.
I recently had two pair of shoes repaired. They did wonderful job! The shoes look like new after they resoled. I love this place, friendly, quick and excellent quality. Would like to give more than 5 stars. Strongly recommended.
