Top Dog Training

A special "thanks" to Ms Day at "Top Dog Training". As a result of her professional guidance & direction, "Bear" & I were able to complete the Advanced Obedience as well as the Canine Good Citizens Courses. Looking forward to the "tricks" Course later this month. "Bear" is a 98lb Rottweiler who loves people - especially kids. As a 100% DAV & retired Army Master Sergeant, my goal is to have Bear & I trained to be a Therapy Dog Team so we can visit hospitals, nursing homes, & other places where veterans end up hanging out at. Bear is a"feel better" dog. A big teddy bear who loves attention & enjoys making people smile. And with Ms Day's years of experience, training, education, she has brought us to that level. And I thank her for that

I took my dog Delilah to Top Dog's puppy class and was very impressed with Merit Day. My dog got a good start to obedience in that class. She is now two years old and is very well behaved. I recently rescued a dog that's about a year old. I took her to obedience class. She's high strung and easily distracted. She's much more difficult to train than Delilah was. So I took her through beginners twice. Merit was very helpful in getting Orphan Annie under control. Then I took her to intermediate class and later I took her to tricks class. Heather is the trainer in that class and is amazing. We had a great time and Orphan Annie learned many tricks. If you love playing with your dog, take it to Heather's trick Class. You and your dog will love showing off their new tricks.

Out of all the dog training facilities in the region, Top Dog is by far #1! Even before I ever invested any money with their school, their head trainer, Mrs. Day really wowed me. I was actually quite amazed with how helpful she was from the get-go. I initially called after hearing about their school from other dog-lovers in my network and I had a couple questions and also needed some advice. She answered all my questions and even gave me some great recommendations and advice. After experiencing how helpful and knowledgable she was just over the phone, and then even by text - I knew it would be a wise decision to sign up for their puppy obedience class. And it was! The facility is extremely clean and comfortable. She and her husband were so great - not only with my hyper, untrained puppy, but also with my two young boys and myself. They definitely made us feel at home. The class was extremely informative and really made great lasting impressions in my puppy. She is obviously a natural because no matter what various problems each dog in our class displayed, she was able to immediately and lovingly correct, adjust and then fix any and all behavioral issues. I know from speaking with others who had previously trained with other places that Top Dog is definitely the best in the entire area and I plan to continue taking as many classes as possible. I would recommend Top Dog in Broken Arrow to anyone anywhere. Thanks Mrs. Day for having such an excellent program. You sure make it look easy!!

Merit is an amazing trainer. She is very knowledgeable and experienced to handle different dogs and stages. My puppy improved a lot in his behavior and Merit was very generous in giving tips and share knowledge with me on my specific needs. Merit was able to identify the level of each dog in class (4-5 dogs) and help their owner to advance their dog to the next level. I had a great time and my puppy did as well.
