Top Hat

This is one of my favorite venues that I've been to yet! So much good music comes through the Top Hat that it's hard to miss a good show! It's a great venue to see a favorite band up close and personal, and provides a place for newer and upcoming bands to flourish. It doesn't ever feel too crowded here, and the people have always been reasonable with crowd etiquette. There are also spots to sit down and listen to the music if you need to, though I prefer to stand. :) Will return here time and time again to see awesome artists coming through Missoula.

Great venue for music. Large dancefloor, good sound, friendly staff, and nice ambience. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends. I really like that they have a water cooler accessible to patrons. As a non-drinker it is much appreciated. I will have to go back and try the food. My friends had a couple snacks and they seemed to enjoy their choices. Friday evening is family night. There were kids everywhere having a good time. I will absolutely be back when my nieces and nephews are in town.

6 out for lunch and drinks. SPICY Bloody Mary ....NOT spicy and not worth drinking. Burgers were sub-par. Yes, we tried each other's food. Jerk Chicken wrap was BOMB. Shrimp with grit cakes....not impressed. But we know it is a bar in MT, far away from the ocean and any real soul food. Prices are not bad considering we made it out with a $100 tab.

Atmosphere is great, bands are even better. Go here to have dinner, meet friends, dance to a bluegrass band, and repeat. It's an especially good place to stop into if there is an artist playing you don't know. Be courageous! Chances are you'll walk away with something new to stream at work on Monday.

Really great menu that’s delicious and updated pretty regularly. For music, they’re getting a lot of good acts coming to Missoula. They’re doing things right.
