Today, ten floors above the bustle of Fifth Avenue, the bright, airy loft feels like a stylish friend’s apartment and serves a varied clientele of art-gallery scene makers and media mavens as well as executives and out-of-towners.While many salons tout a “signature look,” Tosler Davis prefers instead to listen to the needs of their clients and re-interpret the trends to customize their service to each individual. I enjoy working with Heather at Tosler Davis. She's the first stylist to shape bangs that frame my face beautifully and are inspired by the photographs I brought in. The studio is surprisingly quiet - it's situated high enough the city. Feels like a safe oasis to get your hair cared for in peace.Service: Haircut
I've gone to stylists at TD off and on for over 15 years. Because of that range of time, I've seen several different stylists. Every single one has been exceptionally talented and a wonderful person. This salon is hands down the best place for color, highlights, balayage, cuts, and styling.Services: Hair coloring
I’ve been coming to Tosler Davis and seeing Heather for over 10 years now !. She’s seen me and my mother through haircut after haircut, each better than the last. The TD salon is such a warm environment and I so look forward to my visits. Couldn’t recommend this salon more.
Albert is amazing, meticulous and very talented. Reliable and not full of drama. I think he is amazing for a mens haircut. He did give my wife the best haircut of her life imo, but thats not my review. A color and cut from him makes me pretend i still look good :. Tip: He is getting harder to see these days, so i wouldn’t wait to the very last minute to make a reservation. Which works against my own best interests, but i guess this is what loyal customers do. Arthur does my hair coloring at Tosler Davis for 5 years and he consistently does an extraordinary job! It is so natural and I get so many compliments on my hair! He helps me look 20 years younger! I love Sonia for color and Alan for haircuts. Wish I had them now. Alan and Sean have created a nice relaxed vibe for clients. I love the compliments I used to get on my Hair when I used to go to tosler davis. I am three hours away right now. Or I would still be there. I think Tosler Davis is a perfect salon, low key environment. I see Alan Tosler. His work is absolutely incredible. He studies the shape of my face and cuts accordingly. I always leave feeling like a supermodel. Plus, the cuts always grow out beautifully. Completely worth the investment. The staff is lovely, helpful and warm. The salon is chic. Thank you Alan and team x
