Totem Brand

If you’re on south street and love Japanese fashion you have to go check this place out. Alot of the stuff is on season and might put you onto some Japanese brands you didn’t know about. Brands are stuff like needles, Kapital, engineered garments, COMME des garçons, junya watanbe and beams plus. Their other storefront is more outdoor gear focused with brands like Patagonia, the north face, smartwool, and they even got some new market stuff with materials like x-pac for backpacks, that I have yet to see a store carry. Also rototo socks rock just bought a pair online from them, so comfy and worth it!

Great selection of clothes, shoes, and varied accessories. A mix of upscale and mid range pricing. The employees are knowledgeable. Don't forget to check out both storefronts!

Always a good time at Totem! Great people, service, and their choices of brands that they carry is different from many stores in the city. From Kapital, Engineered Garments, Paraboot, etc., they have a great selection. They truly care for quality and are pretty knowledgable of each piece that they have at the store. Highly recommend!

Just have had multiple bad customer services in the past. Store has lots of potential but feel at times. They just don’t care. Surprised they are still in business.

Ordered from the UK and have to spend £52/$64 for customs or the same to send it back. There was a small check box in the terms and conditions which I didn’t notice. Very unhappy with the service. No compassion whatsoever.

Bought an Engineered Garments tie online and similar to a review on here I could tell it had been used or on display. It didn't have a label tag, the care label was crinkled, and some threads were sticking out. Only keeping it due to it's unique design jaguar print but not thrilled that I paid full price for something that clearly didn't even look new from the moment I got it.

The only store I've found in philly carrying Kapital. Great vibe and super chill employees/owner.

Purchase a pair of red wing from their website, the shoes arrived on time, however, it seems to be either tried on or on display for a while. Initially notice the sole has some light dirt, and later on notice there are actually some nail scratches on the leather as well. If ordering from their website, you might want to specify you don't want a display model. Update: it was a gift for someone and has been given already. Can't take it back, plus it'd be a hassle.

I tried to visit this shop today at around 12:30 during their normal business hours. They are one of the few retailers that carry Paraboot shoes in the city, and I wanted to purchase a few pairs and support this local business. The door was locked, but there was clearly someone working inside who saw me trying to enter and did nothing. With that kind of service, I never want to even bother to enter this store. There are so many vacant retail locations on South Street, and I imagine Totem will join them in the near future.

Awesome store. Great variety of apparel and the store set up is super comfortable. The owner and staff are more than accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy with what I was purchasing I spent 2 hours in the store trying on jackets and asking them a million questions. Would much rather support this local business than purchase online somewhere else. They even offer 10% off for things they don't have in stock and have to order for you for this reason.
