Town Center Barber Shop

Was in town for our granddaughter's birth and needed a haircut. Found this place on the google machine. Old school barbershop near Virginia town center. Proprietor Pon was delightful. She was attentive, engaging and very friendly. Very pleased with my haircut, and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop!.

Sometimes in life when you aren't really looking, you happen to find a gem and that's exactly what Town Center Barber Shop and the people who work there are. I'm not as comfortable in public anymore as I used to be but this family owned establishment is very laid back and comfortable and the people are so nice. Brandon cut my hair and I don't usually give myself compliments but he hooked me up and did a wonderful job. The conversations with Ms Diane, Ms Pon and Brandon was a fun little escape from reality and they are very good, caring people. I can't recommend this barber shop enough and it was truly a pleasure supporting a small local business who take pride in their work and I appreciate them so much for the conversation and for making my day. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. Edit: Literally the best haircut I've ever gotten. I hate getting my haircut because it's like paying for my hair to just be messed up every single time. But Brandon, is fantastic and they really take their time and take pride in their craft. When you are in the chair, they make you feel like you are all that matters. In a world where the customer service has gone so far down and the prices so far up, this shop that I was lucky to find, definitely gives me a little more faith in humanity. Hair type: Unfortunately thinning on top but he did a great job and made it to where I actually feel comfortable going out in public without a hat on, which is something I NEVER do. Stylist: Brandon was my stylist and he's fantastic.

I explained in detail what I wanted, but the owner was not interested. My hair is uneven and choppy. The interesting part was that she took her time and this is still came out so bad. It was even worse after shaping my hair with choppy hair every where. The ability to change clips on clippers does not equal the ability to cut hair, but rather how homegrown haircuts are done.

Scheduled me for a 1pm one haircut, but when I walked in, they mentioned they only had one Barber that could cut me who was going into overtime with a previous customer. Asked me to sit and wait. The other Barber then started cutting hair for another client. If you can't cut people's hair, then don't schedule them. It's that simple. Wasting clients time is unprofessional.

11/06/23 If you are looking for a great place for a men's haircut you have to try this place. 18 dollars for a man's cut. Staff is so nice. 10/09/23 Went in to get a cut. They were nice enough to fit me in. I would call for an appointment next time. Very nice people and it seems they do a bunch of kids and military here.

I went there today and I really appreciated the unique friendly and local homey atmosphere. There was a friendly dog In there too! I loved it. I also appreciated that they did an amazing job..I’m very picky..young guy, decent hair. They knew what to do. I was vague about my instructions and she did it better than anyone so far

Clear your schedule for the day if you want to go here. The only real issue with the place is managing their scheduling. No matter if you make an appointment for a set time or not, they will not be ready. Usually 3-4 people ahead of you not including walkins. I’ve waited 2 hours after my appointment time to start my haircut. They are very friendly but it’s not worth the wait.

Pon does an amazing job every time I go in. One of the few places in the area that knows the difference between "Zero" and "Skin". Definitely call ahead the day you want to go in. Sometimes they are booked out, sometimes you can go right in.ServicesMilitary haircut
