TownHouse Hotel Grand Forks

The location is close to downtown which makes it a great spot to stay. The pool is a little small and I would say that the amount they advertise it is a bit excessive, but it is nice for what it is. The mini golf in the main lobby is short but fun considering I have never seen that before. It is an older hotel and could use some love on the older cosmetic items. the signs are a bit old and still have the red roof inn logo. The rooms are nice. The issues lay with the pool being in the middle of the hotel it can be loud and echos easily. Most of the rooms are attached to a neighboring room though the 2 doors. There is nothing stopping sound from coming through. My neighbors were up late talking and watching TV. The TV was on low and they were by no means being loud yet everything sounded like it was in my room with me. It was impossible to ignore and I felt horrible asking them to be quiet when in reality they shouldn't have been heard in any other room I have stayed in. This hotel has absolutely no noise control and kept me up late as there was a festival going on and everyone was up late. If you are a light sleeper go elsewhere!

It was better when it was the Red Roof inn. Now not so much. My family and I had to go to wedding and we asked for 2 conjoining room with 2 bed in each, didn't get that, than they tried to make us pay 80 dollar for it when it was supposed to be 50 dollar for it cause of the wedding.

Attended a wedding reception in the ballroom. Staff was courteous and accommodations were great. Good was good also!

They messed up out rooms that were booked months I advance. Horrible service management. Would recommend to be prepared for a mistake to happen while you stay there. Horrible experience

Price is good but that's what you pay for. Came into room with a piece of garbage still in the room. Our friends had towel and shorts still hanging in the bathroom. Told the front desk about and they just told us to leave them outside of the room. Took till about 11am the next day that they picked them up. Bar is fun, alright food it is a bar. Filled up on breakfast basic though. Good hotel for price that's why 2 star.
