Toy Doctor

This is a mixed review. The front desk needs a system in place for scheduling and all communication. My car was "fixed" and I experienced problems driving out of town from the original problem. They did make it right and it's running great. The same thing happened to my daughter who got her car fixed there. She had to take it back for a tweak and it's running great. I would like to sincerely thank the toy doctor staff for their through inspection of my vehicle during the oil change appointment. Diagnosing the brake pads and rotors needed repair and maintenance. They went above and beyond in taking care of my car during by November 3rd visit! Thank you so much for your honesty and professionalism. Ben and the entire Toy Doctor staff performed outstanding repair work on our 1998 4Runner. Our car had a series of maintenance repairs performed including oil change, air filter replacement, radiator hose leakage repair, timing belt replacement including thermostat and water pump, rear axle seals replacement with drums resurfaced and new brake shoes, valve cover leak repair, and steering rack/pinion assembly component replacement. The car, being 25 years old runs great again and is extremely stable on the road with no steering wheel play. We have been using Toy Doctor for close to 10 years and have highly recommended their service to our friends. Great work, our car been highly reliable and now should run for yet another 25 years!!! Was confused and nervous when all the warning lights turned on in my car, brought it to the toy doctor and they did a wonderful job of quickly and efficiently finding out what the problem was. They were constantly willing to help with working around my schedule for vehicle drop off and pick up, and even purchased me a Lyft back to my house so I could wait comfortably at home. They were incredibly understanding when it came to my finances and were willing to work with me to see what could be done now with the budget that I had. I highly recommend this establishment!

Can’t say enough about the Toy Doctor. They have the best qualified mechanics on staff. The work on my Lexus RX was completed ahead of schedule and an extra bonus…the final bill was slightly less than the original quote! I won’t take my car anywhere else. Very satisfied! They did not have appt opening until the following week but encouraged me to come in before the weekend to do a diagnostic to make sure my truck was safe to drive over the weekend. It ended up being a simple fix so they did it for me anyway. I was in and out in less than 30mins. I’ll now come here for my regular Toyota service checks! I drive a '97 Landcruiser and it is truly my baby! Toy Doctor always does a great job of taking care of it and making sure that everything is running smoothly when I get it back. There communication is amazing and they are always quick to help if there is an issue!

I have used this group a couple of times for some things that I would consider, non-standard vehicle repairs. They fixed a display light in my center console so that I could see the time and direction at night and they fixed my driver door handle, it broke one day and they replaced it for me. I have also had them replace my CV Axle joins and repair a jammed seat belt. I have Generation 4 4Runner and they have been able to fix anything I have thrown at them so far. Would give ZERO ! Dropped my car off at 8am for an oil change and inspection, they told me my car has several extremely hazardous things to take care of. Ex: told me my battery needed to be replaced and j bolt to hold it down and that everything was corroded. They will not break down prices of parts and labor for you, and they told me they can only do and replace everything or they would nothing. I called and asked several questions and was told that their policy is to do everything recommended to ensure “warranty” , they sent me two different quotes for parts, because the first one she added extra stuff to “by mistake” Btw the cost of a j bolt is $10 or less, they wanted to charge me almost $300 for the labor
