Toys"R"Us

Toys R Us? We've all been there. Fair prices and a large variety. Just always seems a little picked over whenever I visit. They also weren't accepting gift cards purchased from them directly and until further notice. Not sure if they accept them now. Outside of all the stores I've been in could use some modernization. If you're it kid it's a wonderland. They used to sell slot car tracks, train tracks and trains as well as models and paint. Hobby type things. I've walked the store with my kids almost twice a year all through their childhood. Can't say I spent over 200 bucks in all that time. YuGiOh cards for my son. Daughter had no interest in Barbies and that's about the extent of girl things. They should have been doing research and kept their toy selection up to speed..

I used to shop here all the time in the 80s and 90s. It was and still is a lot of fun to shop here. So much to choose from and look at. Still a great place to browse around or bring the family. Nothing beats being able to actually SEE and HOLD the items, unlike online where you're kind of taking a risk with every purchase. I hope someone buys this place and saves it. It's part of local history!

So Toys R Us is closing and there is nothing we can really do about it. This location is my favorite Toys R Us. This location in particular is well kept and looks nice. The outside might make it look a little old in my opinion. The old look isn't bad and I think it give the location charm. The last time i went the staff was nice and was overall a pleasant experience. I hope to be going once agian for the possible liquidation sale and, hope that maybe one day Toys R Us comes back to bring smiles to another generation.
