Delicious tradition of Tramonti, right here in New York City.
The historical culinary traditions of Tramonti brought to New York City by Chef Giovanni Vittorio Tagliafierro.
Located in the heart of the East Village, our secret weapon is the historical recipe from Tramonti, a village which lies in the scenic hills just behind the Amalfi coast and boasts more than 1000 years of history in pizza-making.
Our menu focuses on the authentic pizza recipes and includes a section called “The Untouchables”: pizzas which cannot be changed because of the ancient recipe that connects them to Tramonti. We also offer a selection of salads, soups, pastas and several entrees all made following the Italian tradition.
The name Tramonti comes from the native village of the Chef in the Campania region of Italy. Chef Giovanni Vittorio Tagliafierro is chef and co-owner with Diego Matute, both from the school of Mezzaluna.
