Travis County Democratic Party

I left the Democratic Party to become an Independent, as I was so discouraged with the inability of the party to commit to anything of substance. It was as if they were waiting for God to deliver them the election just because they thought they were right. The party read the election wrong, I came back for Bernie, and tried to shove Hillary down our throats, ignoring that people wanted a new face and idea. We could see that this was a mismatch of Hillary and Drumph. Not surprised we lost. Now we still have the same old faces trying to figure out what happened. So where are you. The ACA is not failing, in fact slowly working out the kinks, maybe a few tweaks will be needed. But instead the Party is quiet while the Republicans say it is failing and not yelling to the world that they are wrong. You are losing again. When will you get your S--- together and start fighting for this country? I am just so angry as our my friends as to what is not happening to our old party and country. Time is running out. There are no miracles. It is up to you to get organized, throw out the dead wood and move on. Or maybe you just don't care anymore. Just so you know: I and my friends are in our 70s and 80s, so we have been around for a while. We are all on all sorts of sites and hear nothing from you, all from the Republicans. Some good journalists fighting the good fight, but they are alone. Have you waved the white flag yet.

I am sad that "Bernie Sanders for President" was taken away by the Democratic party DNC. I am leaving the Democratic party because of this dishonesty that has been allowed to throw shade on a perfect candidate. Bernie Sanders could have done a bloody campaign against Clinton; but he did not. He was a sweet as could be. I think kindness is not rewarded with that stupid Wasserman woman betraying Bernie Sanders the whole campaign. And for sure Wasserman was not acting alone. Shame on Democratic party. Shame.
