We hired a capable houseman using this staffing agency. I like the fact that every candidate included a small bio, a photo, and references from prior positions. We were impressed with their service and professionalism. We highly recommend Tri State as being a fine agency to utilize.
Wonderful Agency, Wonderful Experience! I don't normally write reviews however, after seeing these negative reviews from friends of a nanny who did not get the job she wanted, I had to comment. These are not even real reviews!! THIS IS A FORM OF BULLYING!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves. We had the best experience with this agency. The owners are professional, kind and very helpful. They found us our amazing nanny and we could not be happier. I recommend them all the time to anyone in need of their services. Truly a 5 star business that DESERVES a 5 star review.
I'm so grateful to have found this agency, after going through numerous agencies with horrible experiences. Matthew was so kind and patient with us. He made my experience super easy! I interviewed a ton of woman until I found one who I absolutely love. And, she's beyond amazing! We are very happy.
Peace of mind...I was once a disbeliever in agencies myself. I refused to use them based on my previous experience. But, we found the perfect nanny through Tri State Domestic, so the results speak for themselves. They made the experience super easy & well worth the investment.
Edited to add: This is NOT a spam review. While it is true that I personally have never worked with Tri State Domestic, I feel it is important to alert the public of the events that transpired here. It seems that all the negative reviews just say Tri State Domestic is rude and unprofessional. The point of this review is to tell you exactly WHY he is rude and unprofessional. If you don't believe me, go ahead and look at his response calling us "troll friends" and posting a nanny's personal information which is also against Google's rules-way to pick and chose which rules to follow, Mark. Please think: if this is how he handles sensitive information of "employees" then how will he handle YOUR information if he decides he doesn't like you. Please reconsider working with Tri State Domestic. Mark, the owner of this "fine" company please note the heavy sarcasm, has really made an enemy out of an INTERNATIONAL nanny community with over 6,000 members. It all started when one of our most loved and respected members asked for feedback after a family decided to go with another child care option after a seemingly perfect interview. He denied her request with a short email that read "No. Let it go." HIGHLY unprofessional for the owner of an agency. In the nanny community, nannies look to agencies as a advocate. Someone who will always stay by their side. Good agencies have good nannies that continue to make their clients happy. Let me tell you, telling a nanny to "let it go" is NOT a way to keep a good nanny. When word got out a few of our fellow nannies wrote some reviews just to not only let clients know, but other nannies just how unprofessional Mark really is. He then called the nanny and threatened her with legal action even noting "this is why I don't work with you people." I guess we can only insinuate what "you people" mean but it may be worth mentioning that this particular nanny is a woman of color. This infuriated even more nannies so the negative reviews started pouring in. Mark eventually felt the need to shut down his original Tri State Domestic page. There was one particular nanny who reviewed his company, that he sent a message to threatening legal action, though the nanny did nothing wrong but write a review. Mark from Tri State Domestic is certainly not a pleasure to work with, and really shouldn't be in business. There are plenty of fine household staffing agencies in New York, Tri State Domestic is not one of them.
I have personally known the owners for 8 years and find them to be highly professional and reputable in the conduct of their business. I utilized their services to place an estate manager for one of my clients in Tuxedo Park, NY and they did an exceptional job. I highly recommend this agency.
I have edited my review, as the owner of this company has clearly seen his wrong, and has removed his unprofessional comments. That being said, I clearly state that his behavior is exactly why we opted to go with a different company. We HAVE been in contact with your company, but DID not sign a contract or any paperwork. This is a company that you should avoid. My current nanny family had considered using them - and after watching how they've replied to posts on here, and how they've handled anything honest. None of the reviews posted break any terms of service - but their replies- VERY unprofessional. Publically posting someone's personal information as a way to retaliate against a review they do not like, is a huge red flag. Avoid at all costs. I will be reporting this company to google in hopes of having the comments that violate confidentiality between their former client and themselves deleted or edited. EDITED: As I stated very clearly, we opted to NOT use this company based on his reply. I have taken screen captures, of all posts, and forwarded them to the gal with whom they're illegally posting all her information for. I fully intend to help get these guys either a dose of reality that they cannot treat people like this, or at the very least, get the word out that they are not a company that cares about their customers.
I have to say that these guys Are extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful to those of us that are looking for jobs and the domestic field. I rarely write reviews but after reading the -ones I had to post my review . Remember it’s not the agency that actually does the hiring is the family that your resent to , so if you don’t get the job it’s not the agency’s fault . Keep up the good work.. Steven Novelli
Excellent service and unmatched professionalism. Mark and Matthew at tri state domestic are definitely among the best. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the help we have gotten from them. We highly recommend them to all of our friends.
These Reviews are not spam. We have all seen the email and it was disturbing to say the least. That's right...a group of over 5,000 nannies have seen an email that was sent from this man. Maybe he has been great to the people that decide to use his services but he is awful to the staff that he is trying to place in your homes. I would personally not want to have someone in my who who has been talked down to by the person who is supposed to also have their best interest in mind or who has had their phone number and email address plastered all over Google. This is in no way how a business should treat an employee or future employee. We have seen your email. I cannot stress this enough. We have also seen other disgusting things that you have said. It takes a bigger man to apologize and try to make it right instead of trying to justify their actions and scare people with false libel claims. I suggest that you look up the definition. I can tell that a lawyer hasn't advised you to post this because it would be a huge mistake on your part. Just apologize and move past this.
