I’m not the one to usually write reviews, but I went to this location yesterday for the first time. It was very unpleasant and frustrating. The check in was smooth, got called in shortly after arriving. Ive been having lab work done multiple times a year for the past 13+ years. I proceeded to let the lady know what arm and where it would be easier to withdraw my blood and to please use a butterfly needle because I know it what works best and has been recommended by my doctor. She completely ignored what I said and did what she wanted, and was not successful, no blood came out. She called her coworker who did not even present herself when walking in, I explained to her the same exact thing and she also did what she wanted, and was not successful either. They would then try a 3rd time but on my hand. I then proceeded to mention that even if they were able to get a vein on My right hand that it would stop right away and would not fill a full tube, so instead it would be better to try my left hand even though withdrawing from the hand is very painful, they both ignored me and did it on my right hand and like I had mentioned, it did not fill a full tube. What’s disappoint me is the lack of communication and hearing what a patient has to say. If I have them all those recommendations, they should have considered it since I’m not new to this, I know myself and I know what has worked and hasn’t, yet I was not heard. I mentioned multiple time they were hurting me and to please not wiggle the needle around, it’s like if I talked to myself the whole time. I’m bruised upmore than the regular bruise, it’s very swollen and hurts, this could’ve been prevented, and at the end of the day it was all for nothing really. They weren’t even able to withdraw the amount needed. I will not be returning to this location. I do have to clarify this has not happened to me at other Tricore locations.
The people at this location are lovely but the billing is a nightmare!!!! I’ve paid the same bill three times, I have three confirmation authorization codes, and they still do not “show” a payment on their records. They keep sending me the same billing statement for one service but their system never reflects my payment and they’re now threatening to send it to collections. Even though I’ve paid it THREE times. I do not know what else to do or how to get their system to reflect the payment. I can’t believe they’re about to send this to collections over a bill I’ve actually paid.
Tricore has worst billing invoice problems I have even seen. I paid our bill and so has our insurance now they sent the bill to collection that we paid. I ask for the invoice because they never sent us one. they refused send me a invoice stating they sent one weeks ago. I still asked to send me a invoice they refused. The Attorney general of New Mexico needs get involved with this company. New Mexico Cancer Center uses their service I wish they would drop them . Tricore is causing so much stress on cancer patients, which they do not need. Tricore is sending people too collections that do not owe and have paid 2 or three times and refuse to send invoices to patients. The rights of New Mexicans are being violated because of their billing practices.
I came in as a walk-in and didn’t even wait 2 minutes to be seen. I was extremely nervous given that most places have a very difficult time finding my veins and I end up getting poked 5+ times. The woman who took my blood sample I don’t remember her name but she had long black hair and super nice eyelashes was absolutely amazing, she was friendly and was literally done in 5 minutes or less. I highly recommend this location.
Was there at 4:54 flew across town to drop off urine sample. Door locked they closed early! Not professional!! Now my kid will have to suffer.
Decided to try this location to have my blood drawn and I’m so glad I did! I had an 8:30 appointment that I scheduled online. I walked in around 8:27 and checked in with their automated system which was so easy just be sure to have the code that is given to you on your email. I sat down in a packed waiting room but to my surprise within a minute I was called back for my appointment. Had the privilege of having Jasmine help me out. She was so sweet and very professional. Such a quick easy process. I will definitely be going back to this TriCore in the future.
THIS LOCATION IS FOR COVID TESTING ONLY. I tried looking online at their website tricore.org to determine if they are open and what the COVID protocols are in place for having blood drawn at this Tricore location. Nothing found online. Called and left a message, no return calls. So, drive down there to find out this location is for COVID testing only. Post this info online! Answer the phone! Return your phone calls! Communicate! Wasted trip. I've attached a pic of alternative locations that do general testing, as posted on this location's door.
Staff did not listen and then sere rude & offended when I very politely asked why only half my blood work was drawn. I had to initiate the calm to my Dr to straighten out the itders and then had some kid young enough to be my granddaughter lecture me because I -politely, without assigning blame, calling names or swearing simply said it was frustrating to be stuck twice because of the confusion. Like how dare I find it frustrating. Wasn’t about to let them stick me the second time with the open hostility in the air.
Compassionate staff. They made blood draws do easy and painless. Also there was very little wait. Check in was a breeze.
I understand people are tired and over worked from Covid. But has all patient care just gone out the window? I went for blood work this morning. I was the 3rd person in at 8:00. No i didn’t have an appt bc Iv never needed to. I waited an hour, before I was taken into the room where my nurse was training. I appreciate new staff but to make that the only person drawing is just off to me. Not to mention the girl training was txting on her phone the majority of the time. Phones just kept ringing. No one to greet or explain anything. This place has really gone down on what I use to think was the best location. You should do better
