Tropicana Diner & Restaurant

Been a while since I was here. Got the roasted veggie panini. Was amazing! Love the bread it came on, super tasty and veggies were cooked to perfection. Fries were also great. Can't leave there without dessert. Grabbed a piece of the baklava cheesecake. Not disappointed! Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian selections including beyond burger option

Lifelong resident of Elizabeth and Trops is a staple however their quality has declined over the years. Food is average at best. I’ve ordered delivery before and the food is always cold or soggy so today I decide to go pick up. I ordered the Tropicana wrap and the lettuce was completely wilted it looked like boiled cabbage. I am disgusted and appalled that they would package food like this and would risk making people sick. I did not eat my lunch and threw out the rest of the food. Won’t be coming back anytime soon :

Came to tropicana diner for a late dinner with my wife. The service was great and everything on the menu looked so good. Very hard to decide. My wife got the churrasco dinner that came with rice beans Avocado and a soup to start. The churrasco was cooked perfectly. It came out on a sizzling plate which is always fun. I got the wild west burger with onions and bacon and cheese and it was a good big juicy burger. My favorite were the handmade onion rings. They tasted so fresh and crispy. Can't wait to come back and try diffrent items on the menu.

Had a great breakfast this morning... less than 10 minute wait time, food was great and the service was exceptional. Check out is quick and fast with the new machine they have where you tap your card, leave the tip, and keep it moving.

Good diner with a different create your own everything menu, very confusing at the beginning, then u got it! Server was nice and professional!

Tropicana is hands down the best diner I've ever been to. I've been coming here for years and always been beyond satisfied with the food and the service. everything is always fresh and tasty. they have the best waffles I've ever had and their pastas and burgers are just as delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn't tried them out!

Time and time again they deliver delicious meals. So happy to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. I’ve dined-in and had delivery and have been so content with my meals. Today I ordered the Philly cheesesteak wrap and it is delicious! It comes with a side of fries and I selected the French fries which were nice and crispy! 5 stars for sure!

I haven’t been to the Tropicana in years but stopped by a few days ago with some friends who were visiting the area. The food and service was as excellent as ever. Generous portions, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere- just as I remember it. Don’t forget to grab some of their homemade dessert eat in or take it with you. I HIGHLY recommend the delicious carrot cake. The Tropicana is definitely on my “Highly Recommended” list +++

This food is absolutely extraordinary! I got the Viena Crossaint, and good heavens the tator tots were to die for. They were so crunchy and so satisfying to eat. You could make an ASMR video of eating them! Tehe! The crossaint itself was perfectly cooked to perfection. The experience was amazing, the service was spot on and fast! I highly recommend coming to this fine establishment for the low prices and the great food! 100000000/10

I have been eating here for almost 20 years and I use to love the food. I don't know what happened but the food quality and taste has gone way down hill. The burgers had no taste and was not seasoned. Portions were very good but the food was horrible. I should have known because the place was totally empty and it was a Saturday. This place used be jammed packed everyday. Although the food was horrible the staff was very nice and professional. I will not be returning but I wish them the best!
