Tryon Auto Repair had the best prices I could find to replace a customer bought alternator. They also ordered and replaced my battery in the same day. They were able to get me in and out within the day I called. My experience with Tryon Auto was fair and efficient and I didn’t feel like they were just trying to take my money. I've been here 2 or 3 times. As a young woman, I always hate bringing my car in to get fixed in fear of being talked down to or overcharged and I've never had any issue with this place. They are very communicative and I feel their prices are fair. I trust this place completely anytime my car has any issues in the future. Everything gets explained to me well and they are quick. I can't recommend them enough.

I had a few lights go out all of a sudden and needed them replaced for safety. I called and they got me in the next day and corrected my issues easily at a low cost. I used to come here every time I needed to get work done to my roadster. The last time I came here is the last time I will come here. This shop seemed to be a very honest, hard working, diligent crew of people to do business with. I had a replaced throttle body the last appointment I had, they had to do a test drive and completely tore my front end of my car up. The hood flew open on their drive and they damaged the hood and front fenders. This simple mistake could've been taken care of if they had just latched the hood. I just recommend to not come here if you have a sportier car that would tempt anybody to "joy-ride" in your car. They then tried to sell me a replaced hood latch, when the last was completely pristine and they even tried to tell me they'd let me go free of charge for a replaced throttle body, ~$400 and a fully damaged front end of my car to get the whole thing repaired is over $4000. I'm thankful they let me use their insurance to repair my pristine vehicle, but that one mistake of joy-riding and not latching the hood of my car has costed my vehicle a couple thousand dollars in depreciation. I just advise you to not take your car here and expect it to be repaired and driven responsibly, especially if you have a "nicer" car. I chose this place because of the reviews and I was not DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. Within a day, they diagnosed my car’s issue, made the repair, completed an oil change, replaced an engine belt, and had my car ready for pickup before they closed. In short, just know that they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I just moved here from out of state and my car started to experience issues on DAY 2 of me being here. So their service, professionalism, technical expertise, timeliness, etc. really impressed me. As someone who just moved here, I’m happy to have found a place where I feel comfortable having my vehicle serviced. Oh, and the price for alllllll of that work was beyond reasonable and cost-friendly - especially for someone on a budget.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I really don't think there is a place in Charlotte where you can find a shop like this . I could rate this 10 starts if I could. Great service and super professional and qualified people here. This place will find every problem you car have and will explain you every detail about it. Super honest and with very fair prices. I have worked in my cars fro the past 4 year and I haven't find anything better in this city I have tried a couple places for distance convenience but I end up coming back because This guys are absolutely great.Services: Tire rotations
