Tucanos Brazilian Grill

Tucano's is fun sometimes. For anyone is not familiar with the concept, it is a All you can eat salad bar, and a meat service. A number of servers bring around different meats cooked differently and at different temperatures. The salad bar is pretty good... they have everything you would think of for toppings, and I will say they have great mashed potatoes. Where they fall short everytime I have visited was the service. Our meat servers were great. Our actual waiter was no where to be found most of the time and we had to ask for refills a number of times. The manager did come over and ask how everything was while we had empty glasses and didn't even mention it. Overall it's a fun place once in a while but will never be the place to go because of the service.

As always an excellent experience. Staff hereafter always super friendly and have a great humor. Food is always spot on. The selection here is fantastic, and they have no issues bring you special requests. The salad bar is a great start to your meal too. Also, their management team is the best!

Food was good. Once they actually begin bringing to the skewers of meat to your table it moved pretty quick today, which isn't usually the case. The salad bar was really good too.

Came in at 9pm food was ok seemed dry a little overcooked. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT!!! Salad bar was really good, more options on the salad bar would be nice to see. Would come back, but earlier in the evening. Smell of cleaning material was strong.

Truly Disappointed. 730pm. No wait and lots of empty tables, so we started off well! The salad bar was clean and organized. I didn't try everything on the bar so that I could enjoy the meats, but what I had was fresh and tasty, but the service was poor. The manager was training servers and stood right behind our table talking to his staff off and on the entire night. No privacy. I turned around a few times to catch his eye and he finally back up away from us. We tried every meat offered except for the chicken hearts. Most of the meats were overcooked. Our first server asked us how we liked our meats and we said med. rare to med. But there was no way that could be accommodated, so why ask? The salmon was overpowered with too much rosemary and still had the skin on it. The fried fish was basically mush. The sweet/spicy chicken thighs were my favorite. Most of the chicken and turkey were very dry and we had to wait and ask a different waiter for more water. If you are going for the salad bar then you might have a better experience.
