Tussey's Casual Grill

Had a very nice time last night. The servers are very courteous, smiling and nice. The food is great. The place is well kept and clean, background music is upbeat but not deafening. We will be back.

Another great meal. Terrific sandwiches, and dessert is sublime. I was really impressed with the homemade salad dressing. Get the Thousand Island! I do wish they’d bring back their homemade buffet for holidays, but the menu is very strong, too

I had my first experience here last night for new years eve and they did not live up to the expectation. I've heard nothing but good things about this place so I was disappointed. Our greeter didn't greet us. She just grabbed a couple menus and started walking without saying anything. Our server was actually very nice and she did a wonderful job. The kitchen however... We went with spin dip for our appetizer which was actually really good and I ordered medallion steaks with a salad and the Mrs went with a seafood pasta dish. Our salads came out about 2 minutes after the spin dip which is fine, and then our meals came out about 3 minutes after that so there we are with all this food in front of us and our server even apologized for the food coming so fast. One of the first things I notice is this fishy STENCH coming off my wife's scallops. Scallops might have a little smell to them but this was almost overwhelming. I dive in to my $32-half inch- medium rare- steak and IT'S RAW. Our table is conveniently located right by the kitchen and I tell my server about the steak so she takes it back no problem then I get the exact same plate, same food, same everything back minutes later. The plate is PIPING hot to the touch and all my food looks exactly the same. They obviously microwaved my $32 1/2" steak and if I had to be honest, the steak still wasn't done right. Our waitress came by to check on us again and i just told her it was fine because I usually don't make very many complaints. Ohh and the garlic smashed potatoes tasted and felt like instant potatoes. The dinky salad was probably the best part thanks to the dressing.

We ordered lunch for the team helping us pack up our home. I planned to visit a different restaurant each day, but the team was pleased to enjoy Tussey’s 3 days in a row. Love the kind, thoughtful staff and very quick service, in addition to wonderful meals.

I can't believe I have never heard of this place before. What a awesome restaurant/bar. The wait staff is nice and friendly. My order was quick and hot which I love. Of course I ordered waffle, sausage and a side of eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their hard work. It shows. Triple plus rating.

Not a great experience. Waited for an hour to get subpar food that we had to immediately get to go since we were on a lunch break. There were two waitresses and the place wasn’t that busy. Waited 10 minutes before a drink order was taken, 10 more minutes before we got our toddlers juice. Somehow they didn’t have Mac and cheese even though it was on the kids menu. The waitress was willing to have the cook make something for our toddler to eat so we got buttered noodles, which we appreciated. The food overall tasted like something you’d get from a school cafeteria. Not impressed.

Tusseys was a nice little surprise for me. I had never heard of it at all. I originally went to the area to eat at The Cabin. However, when I entered The Cabin, I stood there near the entrance for 5 minutes without being acknowledged at all, but as there was no sign saying whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated, I was unsure of how to proceed. There was not any empty tables that were cleaned. So after no one even saying hello or welcome I left. Instead I walked across the parking lot and I am so glad I did!!! Tusseys was a great little casual find. They obviously have a good following where they are. I was sat very quickly. Their menu was a good mix of things. I skipped an appetizer and got the house salad and the apple bourbon glazed pork chop. The salad was good with a thick ranch that I think was probably house made and with cranberries added in which was a nice sweet addition. The pork chop was thick and the glaze was sweet in all the right ways. I wish I had asked for extra. The garlic mashed potatoes were a disappointment though. The garlic flavor was sadly lacking. A little salt and pepper helped, but only a little. I got their caramel apple crisp with vanilla ice cream to go and it was spectacular. I will definitely be returning to this place now that I know about it!!

Fish Tacos are delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. Fish is a fried Cod battered filet thick and filling... Parking: Right up front if you avoid the rush!

Ordered soup and a sandwich. Both were very good. Consequently, I ordered dessert apple crisp with ice cream and that was very good too. Will definitely return.Food: 5/5

I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Omaha!!! The service, food Steak, Vegetables, Salad, Apple Crisp, and customer service were great.Food: 5/5
