Best news ever, when Tuula decided to keep the cafe for at least a couple years longer. She bakes the most delicious European treats, and her hand crafted beverages are equally delicious and refreshing! Quality and service are consistently great, and keep me coming back for more!
The food was very very good. You can definitely have a satisfying meal here, not just pastries. My wife and I loved our quiche and fresh salad. The atmosphere however isn't living up to it's potential. It feels a bit cold and not as comfortable as it could be. A remodeling is perhaps in order.
Tuulas is such a cute shop full of wonderful cookies, cakes, and the best quiche I've ever had. I would highly recommend this is anyone in the area.
I love, love, love this little cafe. The atmosphere is so relaxed, it's a great place to have brunch. The food is beyond amazing! Seriously. I had the quiche and espresso chocolate shortbread. My husband had the butter finger meringue. Both were super delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the cakes and coffee. I love that it's just ten minutes walk from where I live. I'll certainly come back soon!
Wow! Such a great hidden gem. My friend and I were looking for coffee shops/cafes to visit to do some work and get a bite to eat. I'm not normally a quiche fan, but my mouth is watering thinking about the quiche I ate yesterday. Cheesecake is also to die for and I'm sure any of their other treats are delicious! Lots of coffee and drink options, soups, salads, and more. Prices are a bit on the high side, but for the quality of the food and knowing it's made from scratch I'd say it's worth it.
I finally made it to Tuula's today, and I can't believe that it took me so long to get myself there! Convenient location and comfortable interior...but that's just the beginning. The lunch choices were great, and we finally decided on a quiche and a strata. They were both great but the quiche was unbelievable! We also had a small salad and a light-as-air cherry tart. To top it off, the young woman helping us today Sunday afternoon was friendly, helpful, and seemed happy to be working there. Service can make or break a small business, and service like that, combined with the phenomenal food, explain why Tuula's is such a success. It's the perfect stop for a quick, delicious bite!
Delicious baked goods and a bright atmosphere! It's a great place for meeting up with friends or having an informal meeting. The menu is always changing, with great new dishes or flavors combinations to try. Tuula's is appealing to adults looking for a classy coffee break or lunch, rather than catering to families with energetic kids.
A friend and I decided to stop and have some dessert since we weren't interested in a meal. We both got the cheesecake and it's some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. If you're looking for a nice place to hang out and chat while enjoying dessert this is the place. We didn't try the coffee or quiches but they looked really good.
Happened to just stumble upon this place. Could not be more pleased. The spinach soup and quiche were amazing and the desserts to die for! The owner was friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I've lived in this area for almost a year and a half and am so disappointed I didn't know this was here until now.
We found Tuulas in our PBS Directory. The online reviews do not exaggerate! The quiche was amazing. The soup was perfect! I brought dessert home to share. Cranberry Bitni and cherry-lined cheesecake topped with chocolate! EVERYTHING HOMEMADE PERFECTION! Can't wait to invite my friends and go back. Do try this for lunch.
