Twin City Supermarket

Prices and deals on the regular. Every now and then the gun toking off duty cop stares you down as if he has x-ray vision. Workers have no problem. I'd go back for my produce and couscous... international section is well equipped.

Twin city is overpriced and looks unclean, Not much of a variety. The only good thing is the employees were all very nice. I could not find an item and one young man offered to walk me to the isle, we walked down the isle and he showed me to the exact spot of the item. Checkout was a breeze and there wa no crowding.

Didn't feel welcomed at all employees looked and acted like they didn't want to be there l. Cheese and turkey section employee was nice. Weak selection in almost everything the whole supermarket felt so limited. Couldn't find alot of stuff unfortunately don't know if ill come back.

It's most unfortunate that this market is getting ready to close. It's the only bona fide supermarket in Journal Square, and it is excellent on many levels. It also features the best fish counter in Jersey City. I'm hopefully that the fish man will be able to find another location because I will miss him.

Good store but I don't understand why they let Star Ledger crooks operate on their premises! Stay away from Star Ledger crooks!!!

Items are marked cheaper on the shelf than when it rings up. I informed the cashier what the price was on the shelf, so they sent someone to check who took a picture to show me there was no sticker showing any prices . Obviously they ripped off the sticker price over on the shelf. It would have been nice if they were just honest and said the price increased and the sticker wasn't updated. Terrible staff at this store!

I like that the whole store is like the ethnic section of the other grocery stores. Latin music is always playing when I go there, which is nice. I get decent service. They have pretty good prices on root vegetables plus they're fresher than at the other grocery store about 5 blocks away.

Clean, well arranged, pleasant, so very well stocked! And they'll get you a Uber if you buy over $50.00 in grocery!! There is a diversity of produce, meats, cheeses, perishables and non perishables that cater to - honestly - every community that lives in this wonderful neighborhood! North America, Central and parts of South America, Caribbean Island and Indo-Caribbean, West African, South Asian, basic East Asian, South East Asian Pinoy, Malay, Thai some East European too !! Staff are friendly, efficient, really diverse and really nice. I love cooking and in all my five years and counting here in JSQ, I am extremely glad for this place.

I live in Manhattan and I wish they had this supermarket in New York. I love their huge world wide ethnic food diversity! I am a big foodie person. I could get everything in one place Latin American, Asian, American, Middle Eastern, etc. Moreover, they have a huge selection of seafood department and they are very fresh! Thank you Twin City. It's a treat if I could go there once in a while and buy stuff. They even have a coat check area! Awesome.
