I stopped by today for the first time for a quick lunch. When I walked in I immediately loved the ambiance of this place. They have a pretty decent food menu and a very impressive drinks selection, all of which is reasonably priced in my opinion. The Cajun Grilled Shrimp I ordered was really good and loaded with flavor, but the linguine just needed a little something. The bartender made a wicked Long Island Ice Tea Cocktail and it really hit the spot. The service was good and the food came out fast. The establishment is very clean and the waitstaff was attentive. Since I work in the area, I will definitely visit again in the future.
4/27/22 first time here. Been wanting to come here for some time. Finally made it for a work meal break. I had the shepherd's pie, It was good, but I would have liked a larger portion... Because it was just that good. My coworker ordered pasta with a side of broccoli and that was a very nice portion. Service was friendly and fast. Looking forward to coming back when not on a work meal break. Features: Everything seems to be back to normal here.
Just around the corner from our hotel it was an easy walk after all the sleet we had today. I hate booth seating so they broke down a 6 place table to 4 so I could sit comfortably without having to cram in. Food was amazing, the fish & chips & the chicken wrap both with chips was very tasty along with a side of boneless chicken bites... I'm still getting over the cost of every thing in the states now, 3 draft beers & a bud light a long with the food came to 80 bucks but it's been a few years & as it's our first time in New York I guess that's the going rate .. Highly recommend if you are staying close by. Thank you ...
Only stopped in for a beer, but was impressed with the draft selection and general draft lineup. An added bonus is that they have dedicated glasses for each beer! I had a Carlsberg, one of my favorites and rarely on draft anywhere, and for the location the price was very fair. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
We recently visited NYC and we found this place kinda randomly. It felt like a true “locals” spot in New York. Certainly not an uppity spot, but the surrounding area is somewhat gritty but it added to the character. We got a table outside on the sidewalk and enjoyed the people watching. I ordered the shepherds pie and my gf ordered the salmon. Both were absolutely fantastic. Service was friendly and the prices were decent considering it’s in the middle of Manhattan. Would love to come back again next time we’re in NYC
Cozy Irish pub popular with local workers at lunch. I got the corned beef sandwich which was great: juicy and warm. However, this is also its downfall as the thin slices of bread quickly give way and disintegrate. A thicker sturdy bread would solve this. The fries were standard which was a shame given Ireland's connection with the humble potatoe. Some hand cut fries would level this up even if it were a surcharge. The service was great - very efficient and polite. Overall a decent lunch.
Great atmosphere my daughter had the steak quesadilla which was full of meat and delicious. I had the cottage pie it was listed as sheppards pie but after asking the waitress she told me it was ground beef so its a cottage pie not sheppards pie. That aside it was great was not running and the potatoes were just crispy enough. So if you want a Guinness and cottage pie to get your irish on this is the place. A Friendly pub to visit next time you are in NYC
Fabulous barman, he really looked after us and a lovely looking place with a great atmosphere. I spotted a restaurant in the back and regret not booking a reservation or even asking if we could.
It went to the NYC Comic con and was in a desperate need of sitting down and having some ale and good food with family and friends. In fact, my friend recommended this place to me. Therefore, so we went there and I was pleasantly surprised of the service and the reasonably priced food selections on the menu. We all sat down and had a great time. I truly recommend this place. I will definitely be going again.
Great local Irish Pub. We got there @ 11:30am for lunch. The place was packed with no seats at the bar and a few tables open. Great guy running the bar and tables. A true pro as no one was waiting. The kitchen was on the ball to with food coming out in a reasonable time. Check it out if you are nearby.
