The Early Bird was great. The food was amazing ,the when pigs fly platter is all the bacon all the ways!! The hash and eggs was perfect. Pancakes were phenomenal. Best brunch spot around. The food was definitely worth the wait.
This is not gonna be the only time I go to this restaurant. They are outstanding! And the chef is superb. You're gonna go to this place and end up going here once a week. It's just that good.. I think we sampled be sampled several of the best dishes and just need to go back to try it all!! Presentation, taste, customer service was just incredible!! I'm gonna have to thank my friend Devin for taking me here! If he didn't, I would have never tried this gem of an eattery!!
I’ve traveled all over the country, but this is by far one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’ve never eaten a meal that tasted so natural / local in my life. A must visit. burger, bison app, salmon tacos
Went there for dinner a few weeks back. It was extremely noisy and hard to have a conversation at the table. Food was decent but quite expensive. Having lived in the Pacific Northwest the past 50 years, we thought there might be a better selection of food from that part of the country....but it seemed to us that it was mostly in the selection of Northwest wines. Service was slow, so the waiter comped us desserts. Nice, but still won't convince us to return.
Waitress was rude after we attempted to order three different things on menu that they said they didn't have. Food was cold by time they brought it out and proportions were very small. I understand that those two things normally come with upscale cuisine but the quality was sub par and does not fit bill here. Would not recommend and will not be returning.
This restaurant tries to sell itself as upscale. It is not. The price per person was way too high for what we got. The ambience was NOISE. My husband got the mussels appetizer and NW seafood boil. Both were good, but expensive. The salmon entree was good, but way too costly for what it was. The pork chop was a real disappointment. Dry and overcooked. Thankfully the wine was good and we went thru 2 bottles. They should present as a Bistro and lower the prices, that would be fine. But upscale, it ain't. Oh, BTW, no bread while waiting, UNLESS YOU PAY FOR IT! Not only are they over priced, but they charge you extra for most everything!!, Bread, sauces, etc. Even the cheapest Mexican restaurant gives you FREE chips and salsa!
So this used to be a favorite place of us and our family. After re-opening we tried to go there twice when they were open and not taking reservations and were turned away. Tonight we made a reservation on open table, giving them a third chance. I was beside myself that we walked in through the unlocked door and the hostess stated they were closed. Hostess blamed it on open table. That's taking responsibility...not! I considered this a gem of a restaurant years ago, I reviewed it and said something about how I didn't want to review it so well because others would find out our secret. Well, three strikes and YOU'RE OUT! Sorry, it simply doesn't matter how good your food is if you never let us in the door.
Pretty weak. Appetizer came out after the main course. My wife’s soup came out before main course but multiple requests were not enough to produce a spoon to eat it with. Server bemoaned being “confused” by our order really... soup appetizer and dinner came for a nice simple dinner from a proven winner, and left frustrated, hungry and sad. Wish we had just ordered pizza on Uber.
Not impressed at all. Atmosphere was very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Appetizers were ok, entrees were very disappointing! Dungeness crab pot was awful, scallops were overcooked and the "northwest" cioppino was not good. Server was not efficient and only checked back a coup[le of times. For the money, there are a LOT of other places in Omaha I'll visit.
Food and service were excellent. Also lived the cocktails
