Twisted Gyros

A hidden gem for sure! They have Greek fusion food but also some great Greek classics. The hummus was smooth and had an excellent flavor. The chicken gyro was delicious, I recommend mixing the hot sauce with the garlic sauce and putting in the gyro. That was perfect. However the whipped feta was just amazing. The mix of sweet and savory was perfectly balanced. I highly recommend coming here and next time I'm in Hillsboro I will be stopping by.

Twisted Gyro opened recently in Hillsboro and I looked forward to trying it after seeing the reviews. It definitely did not disappoint! I came in just after opening on a weekend and it was empty. I noticed how clean the entire restaurant is from the floors to the counters. The menu is fairly simple but everything sounds delicious. Since it was just me, I opted for the lamb gyro salad. I loved all the flavors in the salad, the combination of textures and flavors paired well together. The sauces on the side were flavorful and fresh and I used them all. The salad also comes with warm pita bread that was light and fluffy. The gyro meat was a little tough so I think I would try a different meat next time, but it was still good and I would order again. I can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

I have been on a gyro kick lately and I found this place and stop in for lunch. Chicken shawarma gyro hits all marks. It’s pretty damn delicious. This one of the best gyros I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and beautifully balanced. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

Lunch counter style, very bright and clean, bowls are generous with rice, the gyros are delicious, service is impeccable. Wide selection of drinks, they have beer and cider on 6 taps. Small place but lots of seating, has a slight upscale feel with tufted bench, tiled counter, nice mural artwork. Lots of parking in the squares lot. Newer place that grew from a food cart. Highly recommend for tasty food, excellent service, and bright ambiance.

Came here for the first time today. We got The Greek gyro, Bacon on Top of My Bacon rice bowl, fries and a baklava. Everything was absolutely amazing. So much flavor and all of the sauces are delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy, even after picking them up and eating them at home. I will certainly be coming back and I highly recommend coming here.The customer service great. Very nice staff. There is definitely a reason they have 5 stars. Dietary restrictions: Allergic to chickpeas and they made sure there weren’t any on the food and tripled checked before I left.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. Walked in on a Friday around 530 and the place the was empty which I now absolutely cannot believe, the cashier walked us thru the menu which isn’t complicated, it’s just a little different, we ordered and grabbed a seat. When the food started coming out I couldn’t believe how amazing everything looked and smelled, we started digging in and couldn’t stop ourselves! I couldn’t even get a picture of the whipped feta FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY ORDER THE WHIPPED FETA AND THANK ME LATER before it was mostly devoured. The falafel was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, every element of every dish was fantastically seasoned, and all the textures played extremely well together. Even though we ordered too much food and had tons of leftovers, we had to order more whipped feta and sweet potato hummus to go. Do yourself a favor and go to twisted gyro for the best Mediterranean food in Oregon. Also did I mention the whipped feta? Order the whipped feta!!!! Vegetarian options: Falafel and loaded fries are veggie.

The portion sizes were huge. And the food was delicious. This was our first time and the staff was super nice and helpful. We all enjoyed the food we got and highly recommend the whipped feta. We were a group of 8 and had no issues sitting together but it was getting busier as we were there. Will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

Really good! The rice is surprisingly delicious. I got the lamb bowl both times I've been here, and the meat is tender. Like you might not need teeth to eat it because it's so tender. The sauces are good, especially the hot sauce. The owner is friendly to everyone and fast. The place is clean. 5/5 strongly recommend. Parking: Parking is a little tight right around 6pm. Wheelchair accessibility: The door isn't automatic. The bump of the doorway is less than an inch high and wide. More than half the tables are a good height for wheelchairs.

Came in for a bite with my mom. We loved the whipped feta...THE BEST!! The portions are huge and flavorful. We stayed and chatted for awhile and received great service. I would highly recommend them to everyone looking for quality food made by people who know how to make it taste delicious! I only regret not taking a picture!Food: 5/5

Absolutely amazing food, I highly recommend eating here. I have heard nothing but good things from all the locals and for good reason. The owner is such an awesome guy he walked us through the menu and suggested the best meal for us, taking the time to answer all the questions we had. The size of the food is huge compared to the price, it's worth every cent. Get the whipped feta, everyone told me to and they were right. Get it.
